@Monique Haines Have you not seen the ‘Hot Sugar’ video? You don’t even have to be a Beyonce stan to get full blown Beyonce (on a budget) from that.
As for this video I’m not feeling it, the song isn’t bad though.

I think this is her best video yet because of how the story played out.
A tad extra on parts but I don’t even want to be negative because I’m pleased with this one.

I love the song, it’s very authentic & the musicology is on point. The video however could’ve been better but it wasn’t bad by a long shot; I’ve seen worse. As far as the Beyonce comparisons you people really need to broaden you genre of music & education. She’s an amazing businesswoman but far from “ORIGINAL”

Ummm….I love the song, but this video…not so much. I wanted her driving in a car, with her long hair blowing in the wind. We kinda got that, but the styling in this video (from the hair to the wardrobe) is not giving me what I need. Add to that the Vince factor, and it’s a mild fail. Sorry Tamar, but you have got to come a little better with the visuals. It’s a shame, because she got it right with the videos for the first two singles. The music is good though, they just should have done better with these videos.
P.S.: We’ll just act like the video for “Hot Sugar” never happened…which is a shame, because that was the song that would have really defined this era.
Think the Bey comparisons are on here because Tamar always be saying on her shows BFV & Tay & Vince that she wants to pop, drop and shake like a Beyonce.
