With the New Year nigh, it appears Nicole Scherzinger is looking to finally break out as a solo force.
Recent years have seen the former Pussycat Doll star cool her musical efforts in favour of helping others realize their dreams on The X Factor UK. However, if new reports are to be believed, the 34-year-old will be flaunting her own x factor on the charts next Summer with a new album – which will serve as the first release from a major new recording deal.

Reliable word has revealed that the Pop performer is on the brink of inking a $5 million deal with Sony Music – which forms part of a major commercial relaunch.
The Huffington Post writes:
“Nicole was the most popular member of the X Factor panel this year and is the real winner in terms of bankability. She is set to sign with Sony and can’t wait to get back to her music which took a back seat during X Factor.”
What’s more, as well as her new recording contract, Ms. Scherzinger is also set to rake in the cha-ching in 2014 with other lucrative deals that include being the face of Herbal Essences shampoo and a reported £1million deal with fashion brand Missguided.
If indeed now housed at Sony, it would mean that the singer has severed ties with longtime recording home, Interscope, which sits under the corporate umbrella of Sony rival Universal Music.

Say what you want about Nicole, but she’s definitely been playing her cards right, stacking her coins, and making the right power moves. Here’s hoping her 2014 brings with it material that is deserving of success. For, she – quite literally – is the full package.

@Bey_hive I find she is quite marketable though. Killer love was a horrible album..it sounded like a demo( MOTS AND AGLM). She just needs proper material. I like her though.

I’ve always agreed that Nicole has potential, loved her in PCD she was amazing, surprised when her solo career didn’t kick off, I think it’s her boring personality. anyway I will enjoy a well excited comeback
@Note I said Marketable not likable. Take rihanna for example, she is very marketable but not well liked. If Nicole brings it with her music I might consider myself a fan or maybe stan for Ha.

Yeah she did PCD wrong. LOL I think she should have stayed with PCD though. She should have done like 3 more albums with them and go Solo but everyone can’t be like King B.

Nicole isn’t marketable and that’s her biggest problem,not to mention her solo music sucks.
She has only proven herself in on one market and even then the numbers were just ok. We have been making the “potential” excuse for far too long now. Potential is just potential and until she uses her “potential” skills or lack thereof will be as common as someone asking “Who?” everytime someone says her name.
