In a testament to their global pull, Little Mix‘s new album ‘Salute’ marched its way to the top of iTunes US — hours before they’d given their first Stateside performance in support of it.

Preceded by single ‘Move, the LP (which is the group’s second) arrived on American shores today following top 5 success in the UK – where it was released last November.

Hitting the stage on Good Morning America moments ago, the ladies justified their buzz with an action-packed showing.

Watch Little Mix in action after the jump…

Good stuff.

It’s been awesome watching the group grow – in both success and ability – over time. Here’s to them reaching new heights.

  2. Lovebird February 4, 2014

I hope they go further than NO Direction; they actually have talent, drive and something interesting about them.

  4. Katie. February 4, 2014

LOL a CIARA FAN throwing shade?! You got a damn nerve honey.

Sit your ass down and keep it mute.

  5. BeyBeyKing February 4, 2014

Ciara fans say who who who, when the question they should be asking is where.

Where will Ciara get the money to pay for Future’s child support?
    Where is Ciara’s relevancy?

    These are just two examples.

    Amaze balls.

  7. Katie. February 4, 2014

    YAS READ THEM.

They MUST be mad. That album was dropped then she faded into irrelevancy.

Where is that stage Ciara? Still not booked?

YES! Little Mix is the real deal! They write their own stuff, they have created their OWN unique and original sound/style, their indivual vocals are killer and don’t get me started on their beautiful harmonies!

It’s been ages since a girlband has dominated the scene, and they are bringing R’n’B back with a BANG! There is NO artist in the whole music industry right now that’s music sounds like these ladies.

    2014 is Little Mix’s year!

  10. Del Bey February 4, 2014

I see more talent and authenticity in them than stupid 1D that are so s***! Wings is a bangerrr

    Actually it was a pun…
Their album “Salute!” has ‘moved’ to number 1 on iTunes.
TGJ were not referring to their single, they were referring to the album.

Idk what’s so hard in their writing to understand? They clearly stated that it was Little Mix’s album that got to number 1.

Tip #1: Read the FULL article next time then get back to me. 🙂

their track “Boy” reminds me so much of Destiny’s Childrens “Bills Bills Bills”… no shade

  14. Katie. February 4, 2014

GIRL BYE. Who started throwing shade? You.

Get outta the kitchen if you can’t take the heat! You’re not gonna come for Little Mix and get away so easy.

  15. The Boy Toy February 4, 2014

They’re cute but America isn’t here for girl groups anymore. They’ll just break up because or egos and then attempt to go solo.

  16. The Boy Toy February 4, 2014

    Because of*

  17. truth tea February 4, 2014

    real deal?
They were manufactured on X factor by Simon Cowell.
Sharing a song-writing credit with 5 other songwriters doesn’t make you a songwriter. Just another manufactured girl group put together to make money for fat old men in the industry

  18. You Tried February 4, 2014

your shade towards SLAY Direction was dry , try again cause they are CLEARLY slaying the world right now #oops

  19. Redskin February 4, 2014

@truthtea They may be a ‘another manufactured girl group put together to make money for fat old men in the industry’ in your eyes… but actually their opening doors for other UK artists to try their luck at the US Market… As we all know, America rarely accept artists across the pond, or anywhere in the world for that matter, so it’s great to see some Brits do well with their international success. And no disrespect, but Brits rarely sell s** either, and American Popstars these days are verging on pornagraphic, so its nice to girls going No.1 and being successful, less for taking clothes off, but for TALENT

  20. The Queen of R&B February 4, 2014

  28. Check Your Lipstick Before You Come & Talk To Me February 5, 2014

People are so wrong if they are sleeping on these girls. Their style, sound, and choreo are always on point. They are genuinely likable as well – not little bratty girls which is nice. Hope they get a #1 next week when the chart comes out I shelled out my coins for Salute!

  29. Erickane February 6, 2014

Actually Tulisa created Little Mix not Kelly Rowland thanks
