Published: Tuesday 11th Feb 2014 by Rashad

The wait is over!

Indeed, the night brought with it ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ – the highly anticipated comeback single of former child of Destiny Miss Letoya Luckett.  Her first new release in nearly half a decade, the song saw its premiere aboard VH1’s ‘Single Ladies’ – a lucrative bid to reignite the ‘She Don’t’ diva’s social stardom.

As buzz builds with ‘Wait’ and the soon to follow, long-awaited official lead single from Luckett’s 3rd official solo album ‘Until Then’, take a listen to the ‘Single Ladies’ number in its entirety and sound off below:

Pure fire! We love it!  Now, Letoya, don’t make us wait for your next album! We need more of this.

  4. Lovebird February 11, 2014

    R.I.P Kelly Rowland’s career.

This will most definitely sell more copies than Ciara (FLOP FLOP FLOP FLOP).

    Get it Letoya.

  5. kissingkeke February 11, 2014

This is just build up to her official single but I really like this. Although short, it’s def. good to finally hear some music from Toya. Love this girl

  6. Lovebird February 11, 2014

Just bought it off of iTunes, it sounds better there.

Letoya putting in the work, if only Kelly NowhereLand had the work ethic.

And sometimes a b**** just cannot, just look at Ciara, 684546854 buzz singles, 354684543 videos, 31548641354135186451354 performances; and still a b**** cannot.

Worst part is she got outsold by Kelly NowhereLand of all people, Blue Ivy’s baby sitter, you get outsold by that?

Don’t make me wait (to end Kelly’s career).

I dedicate this song to Colton Haynes, Elijah Blake and Robin Rihanna Fenty; don’t make me wait.

  7. YA February 11, 2014

  8. JER February 11, 2014

HOT!!! Yes, release one more single and then the album shortly after. Please don’t take the Cassie/Jojo/Cerror/Kelly/Ashanti/Nicole Shouldnbeazinger/strangerbitch and keep delaying the album

  13. Check Your Lipstick Before You Come & Talk To Me February 11, 2014

This song is hot! Just checked her Twitter: this is not her first official single – just something for the fans! Love that she confirmed that to the fans without any b*******! Wish it was longer but damn this has got me hyped for the new album!

I ALWAYS thought she was the hottest in DC. This girl’s voice is pure R&B! Her first album was the s***, I don’t know why they let those bangers fall. I think it’s amazing how she has the most personality (other than Bey) in her voice, yet she was put on background. DC really missed out.

  15. credits February 11, 2014

she is the best actress on that show actually, everybody else seems so fake. she is owning her role. They barely played the song at the end of the episode though. i like and i still listen to her last album. Don’t make us wait.

  16. cocobutta February 11, 2014

    This is short but sweeeeet.
LeToya giving me vocal skill with her texture on this.

Need a full length track from our Toya but smart move introducing it via the TV show.

Really check for LeToya Luckett because she grinds the right way and never been bitter, just hungry.

Maybe a extended version for the album and maybe a rap feature.

    Production and arrangement on point

  23. The Boy Toy February 11, 2014

This is fiyah but way too short! I love her as Felicia Price on single ladies

  24. IV. February 11, 2014

  25. Truth February 11, 2014

This is dooooooooppeee! And please lets not give any attention to Lovebird..he is trying to start a stan war with his MESSY A$$

  31. PA February 11, 2014

This song actually knocks harder than anything on Kelly’s album and almost everything on Beyonce’s album. Truthfully, LeToya has what it takes to be huge in this industry and her music is always refreshing and on point. Kelly is doing her thing too. I can just see LeToya running in the likes of someone like Rihanna. Glad to see her really starting to get her props. Single ladies star on vh1 and new album. GO LETOYA!!! YESS MA!

  32. MamaMac February 11, 2014
