As she makes a polarising entry into the world of music, ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Porsha Stewart seems to have found a staunch supporter in R&B market leader Tamar Braxton today.
Confused? Well, consider yourself one of the few who didn’t tune into the star’s appearance on the ‘Bethenny’ show this morning, where she was joined by her mother and sisters…sans Toni.
It was there, after seeing Towanda quizzed on her alleged relationship with Stewart’s ex-husband Kordell, did Tamar dish out support for the R&B hopeful, who is currently readying the release of her debut single ‘Flatline.’

I love the Braxton’s and of course every family fights but you can tell there’s genuine love between all the sisters which is inspiring and great to see black families getting along and loving each other represented on television!
But TGJ is wrong for only mentioning Tamar in the headline like she was the only Braxton there but what ever gets people to click on the post I guess because that headline is shady lol!

The show may hhave been Tamar’s idea, but the show took off, hell, got picked up because of Toni. No one knew who you were Tamar! Veicn was Toni’s manager first, so why didn’t he put Toni on 99 tv shows to promote like Tamar? The show has done NOTHING for Toni’s career, they used her.

if you look at the credits of the show, Tamar and Vince are the executive producers of both of the shows. and part of the whole reason why Toni even agreed to do the show was because it was going to help her financially. go back and check out her interview with wendy williams before the show started. she said it herself.

But without TONI, no one would have been interested in picking the show up. Wasn’t she the one who shopped the show around? Tamar & Vince may be executive producers, but there would be no Tamar & Vince (marriage or show) without Toni. I don’t like Tamar’s entitled attitude.

@MACFAC2014 You need to take your advice and go look at that interview. The ONLY reason Toni did the show was to help her sisters. Touring is what pays, not doing reality show. Toni is also an executive producer, because they had to agree to certain terms before she decided to do the show. The sisters could not have gotten the show without Toni, and Toni had lost a bet with Tamar, and then Tamar told Toni they had to meet with the ppl the next day. Please get your info. from reliable source.

I will said this Yes the only reason why Tamar is where she is at today is because of Toni Braxton, if Toni would never did the show we would be having this discussion today… Now so of her (tamar) success is because her over the top gay attitude which the teenagers love… I think that is why she is getting alot don’t said because she can sing cause this is her second chance and second album the first on flop horribly…. Hey Toni opened the door for Tamar. Tamar, kept herself relevant by being XTRA while having the studio vocals to back it up. I like Tamar’s music but Love Me Some Her… Toni if yall really care about Toni’s career go and support her album it drops tomorrow. Also 300,000 albums for any R&B not named Beyoncé is good.
@Music stan yes Toni is the reason the show started, but Tamar was the breakout star. No offense to toni because Im a big fan of Toni too, but she didnt get her own reality show spinoff. tamar did because she was the one with the most personality. Toni is barely on the show anyway. most of the time its just her sisters. and yes Tamar can sing, Her first album didnt do well because it wasnt promoted, plus she was on a small unknown record label back then. most people didnt even know she had album out until years later. so of course it wouldnt sell. the record label she was on back then doesn’t even exist anymore.
@Mark111 toni wasnt promoted on multiple shows because she had nothing planned for her career at the time and wanted to retire. Toni even said that she wasnt into the music thing anymore and almost gave up. thats not Tamar and Vinces fault that she wanted to retire. im sure if toni wanted her own spinoff then she would have one, but she clearly doesnt want one.

Toni did the show to help her sisters and that includes the soon to be 37 years old child,Tamar! Why the hell does Tamar keep saying that Toni is “almost 11 years older than” her? She either skipped elementary school math or she’s purposely making it seem like Toni is much older than her. Tamar was born in March 1977, while Toni was born in October 1967 making Toni 9 years and 5 months older. I’ve heard her say this 3 diff times. When they were on Bethenny show, Trina said Toni was almost 10 years older than Tamar, and Tamar jumped in and said “11 years”.
