Watch: Beyonce Joins Jay-Z For Surprise Performance At Pre Super Bowl Party

Published: Sunday 2nd Feb 2014 by Sam

Beyonce has quite the knack for surprising these days.

The chart force sent fans into a frenzy when she hit the stage for a surprise performance of ‘Drunk In Love’. during Jay-Z’s headlining set at DirecTV Super Saturday Night this evening,

Held at Pier 40 in New York City, the pair’s pre Super Bowl showing comes a year after King B headlined the coveted stage, and a week after they become the most-talked about names in the industry following their Grammy rendition of the song.

With ‘Drunk’ reaching dizzying heights and radio and holding firm in the top 10 on US iTunes, the single seems poised for even greater success.

Toast to the good times with Bey and Jay-Z after the jump…

A ho in clothes is still a ho.

Don’t think that by covering up for one of Jay-Zs pimp conventions means we have forgotten your public whoring in front of 25 million people.

That porno at the Grammy’s is still fresh in people’s mind.

  23. True That February 2, 2014

Cut the Black Americans some slack, many don’t take education seriously, are underexposed, underdeveloped. Sadly many are brazen in their ignorance and don’t even want to learn and grow. They have been misled by ministers, entertainers, many have no parent homes in that their parents are Celeb worshippers, twerk worshippers. The Black inner City Community has collapsed and many are being groomed for prison and can’t even see it.

They need prayer as only a divine intervention will pry many of them out of the a** cracks of these entertainers that care nothing about them.

  24. True That February 2, 2014

Their current behavior is disgraceful, hopefully they can find their way back to the path their ancestors left.

Education, Modesty, Worshipping No one but God, Community, Each one Reach one.

This selfish, materialistic, worshipping, ignorance that they have adopted is a great disservice to those that came before.

It’s Black History Month, learn something and get some pride.

  25. Jay February 2, 2014

You are clearly a hater and you are very judgmental. How in the hell is she a w****? It was a performance and to top it off it was with her HUSBAND! So before you open your fat trap from now on, look up the definition of a w****! You sound so ignorant!

  26. Un iased February 2, 2014

Are Ciara fans coming for live vocals? Lol. I enjoyed this performance waay more than the Grammy one, she seemed more comfortable and looks like they are having fun. I don’t know why she lip sync last time, she obviously didn’t need to. I hope she performs XO somewhere, don’t leave it for dead lol.

  27. charlotte February 2, 2014

get over it..just because shes slaying in the music industry doesn’t mean you have to insult her every move.

  28. BEYHIVE_MINAJ February 2, 2014

  29. Brazilian Beyoncé February 2, 2014

  38. Beyonce’s left hand February 2, 2014

your profile pic is of Madonna, right? Because she’s a saint, right? Never did anything risqué? Never bared her body publicly, never danced provocatively, never kissed two girls on stage for shock value, yeah, you’re right! If she’s such a w****, why are you watching the video? And beyond that you found her previous video and posted it as well. Man, you have a lot of time for someone you seem to dislike. Hypocrite

  39. beyugly February 2, 2014

T********* strips for the world and her ugly a** husband.

  40. bey magical February 2, 2014

But are u forgetting she’s married. … SHES A GROWN ASS WOMAN WHO IS MARRIED!!! they can sing about what ever the f*** they want they have commitment to each other!! But its all good when ciara sings about her body party and her goodies… at least beyonce done it right married kids and now her album you dont here about her sleeping around jumping man to man… shes far from a h**

  41. King B Agent (Blue Ivy Brother) February 2, 2014

You talking about the perfomance that she was crown Queen of the Grammy’s and made her song go in the top 5 of Itunes? Yes we remember that performance.

  42. True That February 2, 2014

Yes we should all unite but around truth and the truth is
    education is important
being and loving yourself is important
your community/where you live is important
caring about vulnerable youth is important

rallying together to defend Bey and Jay (who have/are arguably having a negative effect on black people) is NOT important, their role should be critically assessed.

A child who is viewing them is not viewing them as a married couple, many children are in “No Parent” homes beceause their Mom may have been 12 or 13 when she had them, so F them right, and you better not have anything critical (negative) to say about Bey or Jay or the music industry that they are the King and Queen of.

IF that is our mentality, we surely won’t make it another century (the inner city Black American) as they we will all be in a private prison (back in physical slavery)

This is a 18+ act (Drunk is good now, I know I know, In love…but I been drinkin, liquor on my mouth–yeah its all good because it’s “Beyonce”) This is irresponsibility at its finest and our culture at its lowest since we have been in America, this is on par with Sambo but more dangerous as I don’t think Sambo was promoting drinking and s** to kids by default

Carry on the ‘worship’ and ‘defense’, F the real impact, she can do whatever she wants, she is grown but there used to be a time and place for everything.

  43. True That February 2, 2014

King supposed to be on Top by the way, you all are delusional, proud followers and it is really disturbing. You all always moving the goal post and I hope none of you have children or are around children.

  44. the truth honey February 2, 2014

Tbh that waa better than her grammy performance. Ijs

  45. TRUTH SERUM February 2, 2014

@truethat, now I really think you’re bat sh$t crazy. Please, no more Beyonce “think pieces”. It’s not that serious.. It’s just music for grown folks. @lovebird is crazy but only for the sake of stirring the pot; you my friend really tried to analyze Bey on a blog. The impact #sit

  46. Chief V February 2, 2014

What made it a porno? your obviously very immature and don’t know what the f*** you talking about. How about you go look up the word porno, and educate yourself dummy. Thats her husband and she is a grown woman, she can do whatever in the hell she wants!

  47. ENOUGH ONIKA (NEW & IMPROVED) February 2, 2014

I’m becoming increasing more tired of the f*ckery that goes on on this site and is ALLOWED. I can’t even comment on the video because I’m so disgusted by that b****** a*s @RihannaLately. SAM YOU NEED TO BAN THAT IP ADDRESS!

  48. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) February 2, 2014

Beyonce is absent from iTunes top 5. She’ll be absent from top 10 not long from now.

  49. True That February 2, 2014

It is that serious just because you cannot comprehend that doesn’t make it so.

As long as we can agree that they have no business being presented to children on a pedestal (as they are) then there is no problem.

I work in the inner city so I know first hand the effect their brand has had, and its not a good one and many of the kids don’t have the benefit of a mature, vigilant parent to shield them from the messages that go along with this brand.

I’m all for adult entertainment, again, let them be for your enjoyment, no for your impressionalble children who only see images and cannot filter what is being seen.

A common statement is why should I finish high school, Jay and Bey didn’t. This is stupidity right, but it is also the mind of a child.

  50. TRUTH SERUM February 2, 2014

Someone is trying way to hard to sound intellectually superior … If you work with inner city children than you should know that Bey and Jay are the least of their worries. There are systemic issues that leave those kids at a disadvantage and it has noting to do with music. Wait.. this is blog.. Organize a mentoring program if you really want to help. lol.. lmao..

  51. Yeah I Said It February 2, 2014

She looks so damn s*** in that dress.

  52. LOL February 2, 2014

  53. LOL February 2, 2014

  54. Yeah I Said It February 2, 2014

They are so openly affectionate now, I love it.

  55. Anne February 2, 2014

Beyoncé did not give away the videos, the average CD w/out visuals cost much less than 16 bucks. Clearly the consumers paid extra money for the videos. Most artists make zero money directly off of their videos because everyone can see them for free when they come out. Beyoncé was smart to group the videos with her CD so she could charge extra and actually make money directly from the videos. As for Drunk In Love, if it peaks in the top ten of the Hot 100 that’s huge for an R&B song, it rarely happens nowadays. Beyoncé doesn’t seem to be feeling any pressure when it comes to this album. She knows it will already go down in history as a success based on the fact that it has broken records already and set standards that most others can’t match. She is taking her time when it comes to promoting this album and she knows it has legs. Almost every other recent release fell out of the top ten with a quickness while this album has been hovering in the top 5 since its release, remaining in the top ten with ease. No reasonable non-hater would deny that this era is a success for Beyoncé. Only the haters try to find something negative to grab on to b/c it’s hard for them to accept the glaring truth— Beyoncé is winning!

Presenting lovebird the biggest hypocrite of all! Calling beyonce a ho while stanning for the biggest ho in the industry. U are so pressed about this performance, u are thinking about this in your sleep! Chile, pls dont embarass urself. Why dont u tell rihanna to stop being a ho in her music videos and IG account too while ur at it. Ppffft!

  59. da 1 February 2, 2014

Now King Bey is back paddling & pu**y popping trying to cover up in this dress, she should’ve wore this dress for her grammy performance and wore the other outfit to this bcuz it fits this organization. Bey don’t save face now that you’re getting negative press for that raunchy a** performance by trying be to classy now. You need to stick to your guns and represent raunchiness to its fullness. At least RiRi owns it and don’t care. Bey stick your guns. Like the great Ms. Funky Dineva has said,”Said what you mean, mean what you say and stand firm in your word, while you walking in your talk.”

  60. Keisha February 2, 2014

    I really loved this performance

  61. Lisa February 2, 2014
