Announcing the arrival of a brand new studio set in January, the April 22nd release of her fiancee Future‘s ‘Honest‘ LP has gone a long way to whip up momentum for her project- the followup to 2013’s ‘Ciara.’

A recent development has some wondering whether Kelly has been dropped from Universal Republic. PopDust.com reports that Kelly’s no longer listed on the labels roster of artists.
This comes after her last album, Talk a Good Game, sold only 215,000 copies around the world. Supposedly there had been plans to re-release the album with some additional tracks. It’s not clear if that idea has been scrubbed in the wake of news that Kelly was cut from Universal.
Neither Kelly nor Universal have made any statement on the rumors at this time.
The only reason Ciara names is bought up is due to her stan throwing shade at others fav. That’s the real T. No shade but who’s really checking for cici?

They said Ciara was done after Fantasy Ride, Basic Instinct and Ciara and yet she’s still here at the same events, working with the same writers and producers as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy, Gaga etc… Last time I checked, she’s the only flop that can get IG, Twitter and all the blogs in a frenzy whenever she does anything.
So back to the topic, Ciara’s next album should NOT have a tired EDM sound, she should go with a minimal/industrial/progressive sound with a few R&B tracks like Body Party, DUI and Backseat Love. Ballads similar to Climax, Sins of My Father, I Care for U and Lay You Down by Usher would sound great with Ciara’s voice on them. Something that would add a lot of fuel to the release of her 6th album would be a E! documentary type series that shows the wks/months up to her child birth while also showing her in the studio recording songs. October/November would be an ideal release date for the album if she’s reportedly due in April/May. A nice mid tempo song in August, radio deal for it to be a hit on radio, promo tour in September/October and appear/perform on every major daytime and primetime talk show, major magazine articles and a big endorsement with something like Revlon or Olay or a baby/maternity product that’ll attract new fans. Ciara still has the potential to be a huge superstar… But only she if works with the right ppl and she and her team market her outside the Urban community and US and into broader (white) markets and the international markets too

The Biggest problem is after a decade,Ciara doesn’t have a signature sound or a large enough fan-base.
Besides that, the true blade in the heart of her career occurred during the hiatus between Evolution and Fantasy Ride.
The general public lost interest during that time and for her return single she chose “Neva Eva” and the rest is history.
Ciara has never recovered from that and honestly I don’t think she will.I don’t hate Ciara, as I have all 5 albums.I just think people need to be realistic about things. After 3 commercial failures she is lucky to still have a deal. Just look at Kelly Rowland,technically had only one album flop on her and she was dropped from Columbia Records(Simply Deep did ok)

There are billions of people in the world, with only a few hundred stars performing, so why would someone have to TAKE ciara’s place to be successful. Only a small minded dumb fool would think that they have to take another stars place to be successful. No one can ever replace ciara, because no one can out perform her in dance or song. She is unique and in a class all by herself.
