Watch: Beyonce Stars In ‘Ban Bossy’ Commercial

Published: Monday 10th Mar 2014 by Sam

When not blazing stages, Beyonce lends her superstar brand to many a charitable effort.

Indeed, beyond the singer’s own #BeyGood initiative, Ban Bossy is the latest empowerment campaign the 32-year old is supporting.

Aimed at young girls, Ban promotes the idea of erasing of the word “bossy” when it comes to describing leadership potential in females. For, according to its manifesto:

“When a little boy asserts himself, he’s called a “leader.” Yet when a little girl does the same, she risks being branded “bossy.” Words like bossy send a message: don’t raise your hand or speak up. By middle school, girls are less interested in leading than boys—a trend that continues into adulthood. Together we can encourage girls to lead.

A TV commercial  for the powerful cause featuring King B was today placed in rotation. Check it out below…

Yes she is a boss ass b****.

  2. slay_hive March 10, 2014

What a powerful Message from the BOSS b**** herself! Gotta love this woman!

  3. Fran March 10, 2014

    Yeeeeesss B****!

  6. Unbiased March 10, 2014

I love this! I love seeing celebrities and public figures use their voices towards something positive. It’s true when a woman asserts herself, she is called a B-word, Whereas if a man does the same he is considered a boss. Well ladies, we are flawless and we can be bosses too! Bey looked beautiful, and everyone sounded great. Great Message!

  7. the truth honey March 10, 2014

  12. Ashley March 10, 2014

    NP- Bow Down

She is really the Queen. Such an Inspiration

  13. Stephy Tha Lambily March 10, 2014

    Slow news day?

Anyways, Beyonce looks stunning. I think she would’ve been better off with no make up & her own hair.

I hate when women dress up in heavy make up & big hair like a drag queen. Sometimes less is more…

  14. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

“I’m not bossy,I’m the boss” STRAIGHT FROM THE HBIC HERSELF. I loved this commercial, this is what female empowerment is really about, not expecting women to become nuns all of a sudden just cause they are now mothers.

  15. DGAF March 10, 2014

She should ban acting like a stripper ho prostitute. That’s not being a leader.

  16. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Yes u are THE BOSS B*TCH! I LUV THIS WOMAN! So Iconic but humble! Almost 5 Million Copies of BEYONCE SOLD N 3 MONTHS!!!! WOOOOOOOW!! #THE HEAD B*TCH N CHARGE

  17. slay_hive March 10, 2014

“I hate when women dress up in heavy make up & big hair like a drag queen. Sometimes less is more…”

Yeah I agree. I was saying the same thing the ENTIRE season of American Idol 2013 😉

  18. Suicide Blonde March 10, 2014

She’s a beautiful woman, there’s no doubt about it, a very smart too.

  19. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

The Critics are still Raving about TMCSWT! Ludovic Hunter Tilney: Beyonce is currently without peer as an all-around performer, a dynamic dancer and knockout vocalist. Not since Madonna has there been as forceful a female presence in pop. #AND U KNOW IT LMAO

  20. slay_hive March 10, 2014

“Not since Madonna has there been as forceful a female presence in pop.”

Yaass Digger. I had to re-post that one! 😉

  21. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Lmao Why oh why is @DGAF shading his on Mother like that KIII

  22. PRINCE CARTER FENTY March 10, 2014

Slay Queen! I hope they do a benefit concert, like Chime For Change.

  23. DGAF March 10, 2014

Somebody just said Beyonce is smart. Lmao.

  24. My Forehead Tho March 10, 2014

I love how whether she’s doing a commercial with the most powerful female celebrities or singing a song with some of todays most popular singer, Beyonce always remains the focal point. Case in point:

  25. Molly March 10, 2014

  26. cake like lady gaga March 10, 2014

Yet she has a song telling other women to “bow down b******”

    What kind of fraud s****??

  27. ashley March 10, 2014

Cake she’s telling people like you to bow down. People that throw hate her way, make up rumors about her, and the other pop stars who are beneath her. 😀

  28. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Not since Madonna has there been as forceful a female presence in pop. #AND U KNOW IT LMAO

This is delusion and make-believe at it’s finest. Whitney, Mariah, and Celine all came after Madonna. You tried

  29. Molly March 10, 2014

    The biggest hypocrite on earth.

  30. TheHive March 10, 2014

YESSSSS! She talking to all the lessors

  31. fatusankoh March 10, 2014

Yes queen bey boss you are not bossy you are the boss very powerful you stand out this why you the boss queen I can’t stopping watching it thanks Sam for posting this make my day

  32. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

The bodyguard era alone shitss all over anything that any other female (including Madonna) has ever done. Beyonce IS NOT the biggest female since Madonna. Wtf? This is why I go in on these delusional Beyhive people. You’re all DUMB AF!

  33. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

I see the MooMoo stan is once again seeeeeeeedthing. You see that was from an music critic. Most have seen musicians from Queen Aretha to R****. So they know who’s the best. Nobody remembers MooMoo anymore lmfaooooooooo.

  34. Molly March 10, 2014

@Slayriah the hive is beyond delusional if they think that.

  35. ashley March 10, 2014

Beyonce has the entire package. So I see why they would compare Beyonce to Madonna. Beyonce can announce a tour out of the blue and sell thousands of tickets in minutes. Beyonce’s impact on pop culture is undeniable. It’s just a struggle to deny that, at this point in time.

  36. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

The Critics THE QUEEN >>>>>>>>>>> Hasbeeniah. Lmfaoooo @ someone clinging to Whitney’s legacy though lmao. Just because their fav wasn’t an force KIIII

  37. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

I knew that the seething bottoms would bring up “Bow Down”. The haters knew very well who she was talking to. Y’all were just pressed and outraged because you all expected her to continue being your human punching bag and do nothing about it. She checked you b****** and y’all are fuming and crying about it up to date. That’s why y’all are trying to hide behind that tired “She is telling women to bow down” excuse. Lmao leave it to Beyonce to grill all you s**** and leave everyone weeping and speechless. Like queen, like hive.

  38. Marketing101 March 10, 2014

    Love Condoleezza Rice.

  39. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

@Ashley Exactly! Leave it to the delusional queens to think everything revolves around sales.

  40. My Forehead Tho March 10, 2014

  42. ROSEGOLD March 10, 2014

Beyonce > Rihanna, Mariah, Ciara and your other faves.
SHE IS THE BOSS. I see why you trolls are heated. Lol.

  43. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

    Mariah wasn’t a force?

If Mariah wasn’t a force then Beyonce is a motherf*cking non-factor irrelevant non-existent BXTCH. Mariah snatched pretty much every award in the game. Slayed with #1 singles and albums 20 years after she signed her record deal. Outsold every f*cking artist in Asia. Influenced 99% of today’s singers including beytchonce. Artist of the decade, millennium, choppard diamond award. The list goes on. Sit down

  44. slay_hive March 10, 2014

Don’t be mad at the BeyHive. Be mad @ Ludo Hunter-Tilney, the POP AND ROCK CRITIC!

  45. ROSEGOLD March 10, 2014

Whoa @ that list. Why is Rihanna always making less than Taylor, Justin Bieber and Beyonce? Didn’t she tour all last year? Didn’t the tour make $150million. Exactly how much did she earn from that tour? Ouch!

  46. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Beyonce has made her impact and she is very talented but biggest female since Madonna? NO WAY! #TheReach.

  47. slay_hive March 10, 2014

oh lawd have mercy. This girl STAYS having meltdowns about Mariah. kii

  48. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

DEEEEATH @ My Forehead posting the receipts lmfaoooooooooooooooooooooooo

  49. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

I don’t care what one critic has to say because he/she doesn’t represent everyone. Any sane person can tell you in your face that Beyonce IS NOT the biggest female superstar since Madonna. Congrats to her and her accomplishments but they are weak compared to what Whitney, Mariah, and Celine have achieved.

  50. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

DEATH @ Beyonce being the only black artist in the top 10,let alone top black female. Downplay the woman all you want, but to as she’s not a force is just stupid.

  51. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Why am i always schoolin these hating b*tches??? Just because an artist sales are greater than someone’s else’s. Doesn’t mean they were forceful as the one who sold less. Abba sold more than Queen Aretha and Tina Turner but who was the bigger force in music????? THE QUEEN >>>>>>> Hasbeeniah Carey. #DEAL HATING H***

  52. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

Being powerful isn’t the same as having many awards/sales/accolades @Slayriah

  53. slay_hive March 10, 2014

As far as impact and star power. Beyonce is pretty much following in Madonna’s footsteps. Beyonce has been one of the biggest pop stars in the world for 11 years now, If not the biggest. She may not have the sales of the older women of the generation before her, but she is a force. EVERYTHING doesn’t boil down to sales slayriah. smh

Anything she does makes news. If she takes a s***, People are talking about it. That ridiculous pregnancy rumor was news for months. She is considered American Royalty by many. 😉

  54. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Whitney and Mariah were powerhouses in the industry as well. STAWWP!

  55. miley rayy March 10, 2014

beyonce has sold more than 120 million songs including 90 million solo, sh*triah hasnt even passed 60 million. beyonce wins

  56. ROSEGOLD March 10, 2014

Slayriah just shut up. You’re always talking about the 80’s & 90’s divas. Step into the 2010’s please! As of March 10, 2014 Beyonce is the most powerful female entertainer. Mariah, Whitney and Celine had their time. Give it a rest.

  57. FutureCIARA March 10, 2014

    @Super Cisus

LMFAO, You had me lol’n at your first comment, But sis it came off a little salty…….

  58. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

All you brag about are sales and accolades. Sales don’t determine your impact. Aretha Franklin doesn’t have a diamond album(which you love to cling to) yet,she was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Sales are short-lived,they don’t determine your legacy. Aretha and Tina Turner are mostly remembered for their talent and performances-THINGS THAT MATTER. Not their sales.

  59. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Fabrication, inflation, make believe. I can’t

  60. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

You make a good point but this isn’t about Tina or Aretha. Beyonce has not made half te impact that Mariah and Whitney has. Step out your damn feelings hun. I didn’t even mention album sales yet you bxtches are running your mouths.

  61. slay_hive March 10, 2014

“Sales are short-lived,they don’t determine your legacy. Aretha and Tina Turner are mostly remembered for their talent and performances-THINGS THAT MATTER. Not their sales.”

EXACTLY! I highly doubt people are saying let me go and buy Mariah’s You’re Mine because she sold 600 Million records kii

  62. Suicide Blonde March 10, 2014

Being powerful has nothing to do with records sales, Britney was bigger than Beyonce or any other female at the time but she was never in control of her career like Madonna & Beyonce are, that’s power, boss b******.

  63. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

By this f***** up logic, Jusyin Bieber and Miley are bigger stars than B***** right? Lol.

Btw, how is the Re-up doing, double uranium yet?

  64. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

I doubt people were saying let’s go and by Beyonce’s 4 since she is such a superstar. Lol

  65. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Sales and accolades are very important btw. All Madonna did was make controversy… Sorry but I can’t find her raw talent. Seriously, showing your nipple to thousands of people at the age of 50? #NotCute but if Mariah did that she’d be a h** or desperate. #Hypocrisy

  66. The Truth March 10, 2014

Well who is the biggest female since Madonna? Before you answer keep in mind Madonna, Whitney, and Mariah were hot at the same time.

  67. slay_hive March 10, 2014

Beyonce has won over 400 awards. 17 of those being grammys. Has sold Millions of records in her generation of album sellers. Highly respected and praised by critics and legends alike. A 17 year veteran in the industry. She has made an impact and will continue to, because her career is ongoing. Beyonce is Beyonce.

It makes you look pathetic, constantly using Whitney, mariah, Celine, and who ever else against Beyonce. They all respect her. You are so far stuck up Mariah’s diamond albums, that nothing else matters.

  68. slay_hive March 10, 2014

4 sold more than Memoirs and it didn’t have a top ten. So I guess the R&B audience was very much interested in it. It also has four platinum singles.

    Art of Flopping??……….

  69. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

I didn’t even mention anything about diamond albums in this post though. I’m simply saying Beyonce is not on their levels.

  70. The Truth March 10, 2014

Slayriah you sound uneducated on this subject matter. The music game, especially R&B , changed when Destiny’s a child hit the scene. The manner in which the music was recorded and the tempo changed. The solo female artist game changed after 2003 when Beyoncé went solo. These music chicks have been trying to trump Beyoncé for almost 18 years. She is still on top in many capacities like it or lump it.

  71. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Beyonce is still in her prime. Memoirs was released 20 years after Mariah’s debut when she was just about to turn 40. Btw, that’s like her 11th or 10th album. It’s fine to flop on your 11th album but flopping on your fourth is embarrassing. Lol

  72. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

    @Digger H**

What happened to your gravatar Hun? Took it down cause you got caught. #Mya #Yea

  73. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Yess @ Suicide Blonde. I have never agreed with u that much but u hit the hammer right on the nail. Britney has sold more albums than KING B but she doesn’t have control over her career. That’s powerless. The MooMoo stan is so delusional. Record sales doesn’t = power.

  74. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

“These music chicks have been trying to trump Beyoncé for almost 18 years. She is still on top in many capacities like it or lump it.”

They’ve been trying to “trump” or replace Mariah for the longest while too and it always failed.

    Christina? FLOP
    Leona? FLOP
    Ariana? EPIC ASS FLOP.

  75. Jewel March 10, 2014

I love this chick. This is why i phucks with her. Shes a boss.

  76. slay_hive March 10, 2014

Memoirs had obsessed as a top ten hit. The excuses are REAL!!!!! Why couldn’t push atleast 3 Million. With only her name?

Beyonce has only released 5 albums in 11 years while Mariah is released 5 albums between 1990-1995. When sales were much better. She was pretty much the Rihanna of the 90’s but with talent.

BTW 4( The best selling R&B album of 2011) wasn’t a flop. Femme Fatale is a flop, Memoirs is a flop 😉 kii

  77. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

These are facts! Mariah was huge but she never had the impact KING B is seeing. The First Lady said she wanted to be her! Plants have been named after her. College courses about her. Politicians going after her. Mariah only had sales and her voice. That made her famous and that’s what she’s known for.

  78. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Suicide Blonde though? The Same person who said Rihanna is a bigger star than Beyonce? The hive clings to anything I guess.

  79. The Truth March 10, 2014

You just proved my entire point. Mariah sold albums when people didn’t have a choice but to purchase an album. No downloads to me stolen and people barely bootlegged. If Beyoncé can produce the acclaim and numbers she’s produced with only 5 albums in 10 years, that alone speaks massive volumes. I was around when Mariah debuted. Still love her but she doesn’t have the Midas touch like she did 20 years ago. She can’t even perform live at all these days.

  80. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Yes, Obsessed was a top ten hit which she got at 40 years old. Something Beyobce struggled to do for years until Billboard allowed streaming on the chart rules.

  81. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

“The First Lady said she wanted to be her!”

The First Lady played ‘Hero’ for Barack Obama to give him motivation for the election. Let’s not

  82. TRUTH SERUM March 10, 2014

@DGAF, why should she band celebrating her body and sexuality. The worst you can say about this woman is that she dresses or dances s*** on stage. People get confused with performance and actual life. try again..

  83. slay_hive March 10, 2014

How did Beyonce struggle to get a top ten for years?

    IASF-2008 ( SL #1 hit in 2008, IIWB top ten 08)
( SD and Halo top ten 2009)

2010( NO ALBUM)- Telephone (Top ten hit Hot 100)

    2011-2012 4 ( Love on Top #1 seven weeks R&B chart)
( BTINH, Party, Dance 4 U ALL top ten R&B)

2013-2014- BEYONCE Drunk In Love (Top ten Hot 100)

How did she struggle when only one album under-performed commercially. You stay reaching but you are pressed. kii

  84. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Beytches started practicing vocal runs after Vision of love slayed. Mariah literally made people want to sing. DO NOT DENY HER IMPACT. Even the queen of R&B said Mariah’s music gave her hope for the future.

  85. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

    DEATH @ Slay_Hive.

Telephone is Lady Gaga’s song. Not you clinging to Gaga’s song yet you’re always dragging the navy for clinging to Eminem’s hits. Oops. Secondly, I’m not taking about the R&B charts. I’m talking about BILLBOARD HOT 100! Her last top tens were in 2009 before Streaming was allowed on charts and Drunk in Love and Partition started to make big movements on the chart. STAAWWWPP!

  86. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Ludovic Hunter Tilney: Not since Madonna has there been as forceful a female presence in pop. The last time VH1 and Rolling Stone updated their 100 greatest artist. THE QUEEN was ahead of Mariah on both lists. Musicians like Mariah and critics all came togather and put those lists togather. I even heard Mariah say, I put Beyonce in my top 5 of my favs of all time lmfaoooooooo. #SORRY #BUT MARIAH IS KNOWN #AS A SONGBIRD

  87. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Beyonce is dependent on streaming. Partition only made top 30 because of vevo views.

  88. My Forehead Tho March 10, 2014

“Mariah is released 5 albums between 1990-1995. When sales were much better. ”

    Fun Fact:

    1. “The ’90s enjoyed an unnatural sales boost when consumers replaced their cassette tapes and vinyl records en masse with CDs”

    2. “The period of 1987-1996 had a much greater proportion of mega-selling albums than previous decades, or the decade since.”

  89. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Vh1 had Mariah as the second greates female artist of all time behind Madonna. Rolling stone has named her “THE SONGBIRD SUPREME”

Why are these bxtches hating on the queen??? HOLYYYY!

  90. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Lmao @ The First Lady played Hero in the background. Hun but who performed at the First Dance???? #ICONIC

  91. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

No one was forced to buy Mariah’s albums between 1990 – 1995. Many other people were releasing as well. Mariah first compilation album (#1s which is the pic in my avi) was released in 1998 and it was still a mega seller worldwide and became the best selling international album in Japan of all time. Bye gurl

  92. slay_hive March 10, 2014

No one is clinging to Lady Gaga’s. Beyonce was a major factor in the success of the song/video.

You were clocked. A person that has only released two album since 2009 (one just being released three months ago), can’t be struggling. You’re mine and the Art of Flopping’s PUSH BACKS is what you call a struggle.

  93. slay_hive March 10, 2014

4 was an R&B album. Beyonce still made hits on R&B radio while EDM was destroying the hot 100. Kudos to Bey for staying true to who she was and not selling out for a quick hit in today’s low standards of a #1.

Lastly Drunk In Love is still in the top ten. It’s a combination of Airplay/Sales/ Streaming. Streaming is not that different from Airplay because the consumers CHOOSE DIRECTLY what they want to hear. So I see why it counts now. Only 4 Million of Partitions views came from the U.S. the 16 Million were WW. Get ya facts together boo

  94. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Mariah made most of her money from sales and songs. THE QUEEN has amassed almost 500 Million with her hands in everything. #THAT POWER AND FORCE

  95. Vee March 10, 2014

    Beyonce is Queen.

  96. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

BXTCH I have my receipts and everything together. Don’t worry Hun. Drunk in Live is #15 on iTunes and Partition is #59 yet it is well posed @ 24 on the hit 100. STREAMING STREAMING STREAMING MOTHERF*CKING STREAMING! #Deal

  97. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

I’m not gonna bring in Nicki’s stats today, mainly cause I’m sick of you always bringing Nicki in once I’ve clocked you. Stick to the subject for once before the post turns into a complete mess and you end up getting drags. Yes,you haven’t talked about sales on this post, but it’s all you ever talk about band use that to downplay Bey and Nicki. Don’t call 4 a flop when many people dream for it’s numbers,an R&B album released in an EDM era. Beyonce is influential for many reasons, one of them being that she has proved that you don’t have to sell out or try to appeal to what’s hot to be relevant. Try and understand that before you shade.

  98. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Mariah’s first three perfumes brought in $150 million in revenue though so sit down.

  99. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

You CANNOT bring in Icki’s stats because they are WEAK Hun!

  100. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

HIVE WE WIN!!! Critics and musicians have been putting THE QUEEN over MooMoo. I guess someone will have to continue and seeeeeeeeth.

  101. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

Weak? Lmao OK. I won’t bring in Nicki’s stats because unlike you,I’m smart enough and know better to try and compare Mariah’s 1990 stats with a female HIP-HOP ARTIST IN 2014.

  102. Vee March 10, 2014

Beyonces Heat has bought in $400 million in revenue lol.

  103. slay_hive March 10, 2014

Is saying streaming suppose to be shade? that just means that people are interested in streaming Beyonce’s music along with buying her VISUAL album and singles.

You’re mine is barely @ 3 million views in three weeks the STRUGGLE!!!! The remix video hasn’t even reach 1 miliion!!!!!!! lmao

What is You’re Mine’s position on itunes, since you’re quoting positions? lmaoooooooo

  104. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

    *and know better than

  105. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

    *US revenue

  106. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

The hive is hypocritical AF. When Billvoard announced that streaming would play a role in chart positions, many of you were shading Rihanna and Katy saying that the basics will running the charts even more. But now that Beyonce is benefiting from it the most, it seems they are all for streaming. Oh well

  107. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Hm….I wonder why is Partition in the top 25 on BBHot 100 while THE QUEEN hasn’t promoted it n the US yet. While You’re Mine has been promoted on EBT and radio stations and has REMAIN AN FLOP??!?? #QUESTIONS #QUESTIONS

  108. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

DIL went platinum even when 4.9 people worldwide already have the album. Try again.

  109. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

    *4.9 million people worldwide

  110. h2o March 10, 2014

The Boss B**** who slaughtered MooRiP’s career right there

  111. Dirty Laundry March 10, 2014

Slayriah is so bothered about the damn Hive chile

  112. DIGGER BEU March 10, 2014

That’s a crime shame how someone like Nicki, who has only been in the game for about 4 or 5 years, is above MooMoo. #2014

  113. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

I don’t know why these people are pressed about You’re mine. In a about two months. It will be The 24th anniversary of the release of Mariah’s first studio album. None of the other divas were on the charts. But Mariah slayed for many years and proved that she had longevity unlike some people. I don’t care if you’re mine sells 10 copies. Mariah has slayed. Her Christmas music is still bringing revenue and slaying careers. No one is bothered but you.

  114. slay_hive March 10, 2014

I’ve never shaded streaming hun. Stop making up lies to benefit your pressed opinions. Drunk in Love debuted @12 before the streaming. It is still in the top ten, and not solely based on streams. Streaming is what shot it to #2 but it is not what’s keeping it in the top ten. Stop being such a pressed b**** and go support your fave. bitter ass b****

  115. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Fantasy went double platinum even though 25 million people worldwide had the album. Don’t come with those weak ass sales girl.

  116. slay_hive March 10, 2014

yeah b****. you are pressed. You would have never came here and mentioned Mariah to TRY and downplay Beyonce’s success. You are very pressed that no one is here for your has been fave, that you have to constantly remind us. kii

  117. slay_hive March 10, 2014

Isn’t fantasy like from the early 90’s?? UGH! BYE!

  118. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

Sorry @Slay_Hive. Not you but other pressed hive members.

So let me get this right…
Since non-Americans account for the total views an artist receives on YouTube, they can influence what rank that artist is placed on American charts?
If so, that gives this generation a huge advantage over previous generations. I guess an artist getting a #1 will no longer be as respected as it used to be.

OMG I just love her so much! She is truly an ICON & she can do commercial like this where they only asks women on a high level to do things like this. So Proud!

  121. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Her 24th anniversary lmfaoooooooooooooo. MooMoo will be the only one celebrating. I know her record label doesn’t give a damn and the World been turnt their backs KIIIII

  122. eric March 10, 2014

Girls can’t be “bossy”, but they can be submissive “bow down bit**es”?? Her lack of sincerity is so obvious, just like participating in a fitness campaign and then signing with Pepsi and promoting something that fitness discourages.

  123. SLAYRIAH CAREY (TOUR DE FORCE) March 10, 2014

If the world turned their backs mariah wouldn’t be making top 10/20 worldwide with her album and single every December. Only an icon can do that.

  124. BEYHIVE_MINAJ March 10, 2014

What @Slay_Hive said. Fantasy is damn over 2 decades old. Ugh,get over yourself b****. IM DONE WITH YOU

  125. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Poor Hogriah. 24 years in the game but the latter years were just hell lmfaoooooo. Struggles sales, meltdowns, kicked off the label, flops lmao. #WHAT’S NEXT

  126. DIGGER BEY March 10, 2014

Omg! Deja Vu is on the horizon. MooMoo is struggling like hell to sell records. The samething happen back in 2002 and she ended up having an meltdown and no record label kiiiiii

  127. Sandra March 10, 2014

She looks pretty, I like her make up and wig

  128. ashley March 10, 2014

Bow Down is a song to her haters. If you feel a certain way about the song, maybe the song is directed to you. As far as this campaign, she is speaking in terms of women not being respected as men are. When Men hold powerful positions, they are seen as strong , intelligent, and/or leaders. While women in charge are considered stuck up or b******. This is a positive message. She’s telling women to strive for leadership because they are worth it. If there are haters and doubters in your way, tell them to BOW DOWN! Pepsi is an endorsement only. Is she suppose to stop making her money because people will more than likely choose to drink pepsi and/or excercise with or without her influence.

  129. monica March 10, 2014

Have you listned to that drunk n love, partiton song lyrics. This crazy wh9re will have our girls acting like prostitutes. Men who respect women dont tear their clothes off, squirt on their clothes, and allow other men to view them in the car. he treats her like a prostitute. she probably goes down on him in alleys. who treats his wife like that?

  130. h2o March 10, 2014

    @ FLOPriah Carey

Beyonce is richer than the lesser slave b**** you stan for at a much younger age, your thoughs?

  131. beystanfresh March 10, 2014

lol@ anyone but flopriah and her label being Pressed about Your Mine when the s*** is in the 2000s on itunes Lmfao

  132. ashley March 10, 2014

Rihanna has already whored several of our young girls out. What Beyonce is doing is nothing new. S** is more open and celebrated now, even more so than the days of Janet and Madonna. Jay-Z and Beyonce are married. I respect her for showing you can be s***, mature, and monogamous, all while being married with children.

  133. mc!! March 10, 2014

My thing is why people talking about Beyonce being next to Madonna when she hasn’t even surpassed mariah s 510 million dollar net worth and Mariah don’t even tour she has a perfume line but its not huge! Mariah slay and she don’t even do much!! After Madonna its Mariah those two don’t actually have to combine there spouses money with their to make them powerful

  134. My Gums Tho(aka Teacher) March 10, 2014

Lol I wonder how many takes her illiterate ass had to do w them few ass lines!!!

    Blu Ivy ugly!!

Waittt @ kicked off label, so now I know why her only remaining 90-year-old stan sticks to irrelevant, dead, washed up, invalid receipts from centuries ago

    What a useless Flop

  136. mc!!!! March 10, 2014

CDs were out in the 80s they were just high as hell just like cassettes were still out by 2000 they were cheap as f***! Learn some music distribution history guys!

According to MTV, not me, Beyonce becomes the highest-paid Black artist later this year when “The Mrs. Carter Show” is a wrap.

Oh and guess what … that includes not a single cent from her “spouse”

And it’s not Beyonce’s fault Mariah can’t tour and would probably fall apart after the 3rd or 4th date, while Bey can survive for hundreds of dates, only keeps getting better with time, and loves what she’s doing.

    Business is business

  138. quetta March 10, 2014

Can you people ever give credit w/o hating?

  139. Metzo March 10, 2014

I can only consider praises and credits given by “Critics” because they’re the ones that are actually UNBIASED. And clearly every critics are agreeing that Beyonce is the most powerful, the biggest female superstar on the planet right now, and the best female entertainer/performer since Madonna. I see nothing but truth here.

Ya’ll haters can keep Boiling of hate and denial.

  140. Sandra March 10, 2014

As I’ve already said before, Beyonce is not becoming the highest paid black artist, her tour may gross much because she combined 2 tours into one, but she isn’t getting PAID all that money into her own pockets.

  141. MC!!! March 10, 2014

but mariah did a sold out 4 date ARENA/STADIUM tour in australia for new years 2013 yeah yeah she cant tour whatever…mariah’s a boss she doesn’t NEED to tour she goes on tour whenever she wants too! and mariah did a 40 date tour and still grossed over 80 million back in 2006! Tours are nothing but bonuses to mariah carey!

  142. TheHive March 10, 2014

@BEYSTANFRESH Kiiii.. You’re Flopping (Eternally) is no where to be found

  143. How Many Drinks (Miguel’s a Wifey) March 10, 2014

@Sandra how is she combining two tours? The set list is practically the same. She is only performing like 5 songs from Beyonce out of 14.

  144. Metzo March 11, 2014

    #CHARTS: Billboard Dance Club Songs: #1 (1 week) Blow, @Beyonce | #3 Can’t Remember To Forget You, @shakira Feat. @rihanna (Greatest Gainer).

Lmfaooo Beyonce just earned a new #1 on BB dance club Songs with “Blow” and it’s not even a single yet. Haha. #Dead #SlayEffortlessly.

  145. h2o March 11, 2014

    @ Sandra

    Tell that to MTV
