‘Horse & Carriage’ rapper Charli Baltimore warned aspiring musicians of the music industry’s predatory nature recently, revealing she once feared she would be attacked by a powerful record executive in the formative stages of her career.
Speaking on the matter with radio show ‘This is 50′, the entertainer revealed she learned of the game’s darker nature when an influential industry insider made an uninvited move on her, prompting her to speak out on the issue with the outlet.
Her story below…
She explained:
“I don’t care if you’re 900-pounds and stank! They still gonna try you. I’ve been in a few situations where I was totally blown back by a person’s behaviour.
I was in a meeting with a very high powered person… not a rapper, an executive… and we were sitting maybe four-feet apart having a conversation… Like we talking now, just about something regular. And this is when DAT’s were out, member DAT’s? He asked me to flip the DAT…
