Fortunately for ‘Radioactive’ chanteuse Rita Ora, this week brings with it good news found on said chart, revealing that her new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ is now on course to being the highest played jam on British radio, well after it peaked at #1 on the ‘Official Singles Chart’

As Sam Smith‘s ‘Stay With Me’ sits at #1, Rita vies for the top spot with ‘Down‘ this week, leaping two spots to claim the #2 spot as Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ slides one place down to #3.
Meanwhile, as Perry watches her Urban single ‘Dark Horse‘ slip and slide out of the Top 20 to claim #23, her latest effort ‘Birthday‘ now joins Rita in the race for #1,after rising by #11 spots to land at #4, perched at the position with a far better view of the top spot.
Should its spins decrease in the next week, Ora’s feel good ‘Down‘ may find itself booted from its current position to make way for the rising ‘Birthday’, performed during her ‘BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend’ set on May 25th.
