In a completely unrelated topic, Mariah’s album has had me hitting replay. She delivered although I question her choice of singles. Most of the tracks are better than the singles in my opinion.
I think she needs a way better team tbh. I have the feeling that Mariah likes to surround herself with people who just go along with what she wants and get no constructive criticism. Possibly because she had little control in the first 3-5 years of her career. I think Thirsty would have worked well right after #beautiful. But the most important thing is that she has released a great album and has been getting positive reviews from critics.
I’m happy for her but I agree. I think her team is a little afraid to tell her truth. But who could blame them, it’s MARIAH FUCKKING CAREY. She seems like the kind of person who wouldn’t constructive criticism well. Maybe because of how her career started out with not much control. I’m definitely gonna buy this album and support. I’ve also been listening to MJ’s XSCAPE. It’s pretty good for a posthumous album.
