When not dishing out microphone attacks like what’s seen here or sinking her e-claws into them via Instagram, pop superstar Rihanna shows her fans appreciation by slamming them for their admiration of her fashion choices.
A Baltimore teen, 16-year-old Alexis Carter, learned this the hard way when she dressed as the Barbadian beauty for a Hollywood themed prom at her high school. Once Ri got wind of the outfit last week, she retweeted the photo with the caption:
Since then, Carter – christened #PromBat by Twitter users – has seen the photo reach viral status and make her the recipient of extensive cyberbullying to the point where she’s “afraid to even show her face in public.” Recently speaking to her local Fox 5 news, see what the embattled teenager said about her Grammy-winning former idol:
“I was very offended,” Alexis said of Rihanna’s tweets. “Why throw shade on it when you had on the exact same thing. The poses was different but the outfit wasn’t.”
“She don’t love her fans like she says she does,” Alexis said.
