Behind the Scenes: Jennifer Hudson & Timbaland Record ‘Walk It Out’

Published: Wednesday 21st May 2014 by Rashad

While her current single ‘Walk It Out’ struggles to find footing on the Hot 100, Grammy-winning R&B diva Jennifer Hudson marches forward with its promotion.

Already unveiling a sneak peek at its Chicago-based music video, Hudson is now inviting fans to take a look behind the scenes of its creation.  Teaming with Timbaland to craft the up-tempo banger, see J.Hud in the studio with the Hip-Hop mastermind as they work to reinvent her sound.

Timberland knows how to bring the artist out. You know a Tim beat, yet they don’t sound recycled. Maybe NOW she knows her artistry and not trying to ride off of Whitney’s success.

Speak Dat Truth! Also, she will still flop. Her voice is just too loud & annoying! Also, her biggest era will always be that Beyonce movie tbh…

I still don’t know who she is an an artist. She’s living in the shadow of spotlight.

This song has really grown on me. Timb was smart to mix down her vocals on the chorus so her screaming isn’t so overwhelming.
