Having united the likes of Christina Aguilera and Lady GaGa, The Voice has developed quite the knack for unlikely duets.

Last night was no different, as the NBC hit saw “coaches” Usher and Adam Levine swap their spinning chairs for the stage – teaming up to perform D’Angelo‘s classic ‘Untitled (How Does It Feel)’.

A randomly amazing performance filled with falsetto’s aplenty awaits after the jump…

Usher has plenty of his own music to “feel” good about. Why are they singing this??

Usher was trying Adam with those high notes. Lol. Usher killed Adam has a nice voice but no.

I’ve been playing D’Angelo’s two albums, ‘Brown Sugar’ and ‘Voodoo’ (so sad his discography is short af!) so I approached this with ears that bear a lot of bias towards D. It was not as smooth and enticing as the original because there were two voices involved. Covers aren’t meant to outdo the original. It all depends on how the singer interprets the song. I will say that Usher really showed Adam up and it wasn’t until the end that he held his own with that falsetto thing they were doing. I’m impressed with how Usher’s voice and vocal skills have improved with age (his falsetto>>>>). He’s no powerhouse but he can definitely sing. Plus, what’s up with this blond dye job Mr. Levine?! He looks old and like Draco Malfoy, lmao!

Justin Timberlake could never. Chris Brown could never. I’m very surprised by Adam, he should take this route of singing cause he sound mono tone on his songs.

Hello Mark, why are you so messy? Lol, JT and CB have nothing to do with this post. The former is on a sold out world tour while the latter is unfortunately in jail. Usher is a coach on The Voice -_- He did show Adam up though. His vocals slayed. Btw, this week marks 20 years since that lovely woman in your avi released her debut. So sad she’s no longer with us. Oh and what’s your fav vocal performance by Usher (in the studio)?
