Indeed, as Beyonce’s ‘Beyonce’ crosses the 3.3 million units sold worldwide milestone and Mariah Carey‘s ‘The Elusive Chanteuse’ reaches the 155,000 sold globally mark, Rita tops the tally after ‘Down’ peaked at #40 on Billboard‘s ‘Pop Songs’ chart, well after the cut peaked at #1 in the United Kingdom!
And that’s not all.
For, while Lana Del Rey‘s ‘Brooklyn Baby’ bubbles under the ‘Hot 100’ at #1, Hurricane Rita stomps on her rivals’ feelings with zero damns to give in the UK, after ‘Down’ was awarded a silver certification for sales of over 200,000 units.
