In a move that will no doubt set tongues wagging, it has today been announced that Hip-Pop star Pitbull will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The coveted honor will see the rapper, real name Armando Christian Pérez, feature on the 2015 list of recipients.

Confirmation came courtesy of Pitbull himself on Twitter. He wrote:

For those wondering, the criteria for getting a star on the Walk are:
1. Have a record of professional achievement within the nominated field.
2. Have worked in the entertainment industry for a minimum of five years.
3. Have made contributions to the community, typically through charitable activities.
Viewed this way, Pitbull’s election doesn’t seem as…random.
What we want to know, though, is whether it’s going to be shared with Jennifer Lopez?
