‘Cosmic Journey‘ chanteuse Solange has engaged her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson, reports claim today.
Surfacing after the star’s 28th birthday, reports of the engagement come well before the release of the singer’s third studio album, and hours before sister Beyonce kicks off her first joint tour with husband Jay Z.

Solange Knowles celebrated her 28th birthday on Tuesday with her boyfriend of five years.
And if a new reports published today are to be believed, it was a double celebration as the publication claims 51-year-old video producer Alan Ferguson proposed to her on Monday.
While Solange has not yet commented on the report, she did take to Instagram to share a sweet snap of them cuddling in the water on a tropical beach while she grinned delightedly at the camera.
MailOnline has contacted Solange’s representatives for comment.
If true, Knowles’ engagement would mark her second, coming after she wed high school sweetheart Daniel Smith in 2004 aged 17, going onto divorce him three years later in 2007.
