New Video: Luke James – ‘Options (ft. Rick Ross)’

Published: Saturday 28th Jun 2014 by Sam

Luke James is back and, this time, with a little help from Rick Ross.

The vocal powerhouse serves up ‘Options’ as the official second single to be lifted from his long-awaited debut – which is now self titled.

Due in September, the set is given a hearty boost with the visual for ‘Options’, which was unwrapped on BET 106 & Park today.

Check it out below…

Solid visual.

Although, as keen appreciators of what Luke brings to the table talent-wise, it’d be great if that was showcased against the backdrop of more commercially palatable production.

Luke has a voice that – like butter to warm bread – could melt over anything easily. So, in an era that sees party jams clogging up the airwaves, it’d be interesting to see how Luke would fare on an uptempo number.

Another cocky non factor that still to this day hasn’t released an album.

The song and video are both brilliant!

I haven’t liked anything Luke James has done since I Want You, but this is on fire.
