I mean, Mariah Carey´s promo has been almost non existant for the actual album (even though some people want to force us to believe otherwise), and nobody says anything about people like Minaj? Who should be slaying without this much effort? I mean, I´m all for promo, you´ve done your job with an album so you want to promote it., but damn it, she´s been featured or released buzz singles at a rate of… 10 every year? 🙂 And she´s already doing a lot of tv. See? That is promo, the biggest promo. That and radio airplay of course.
Well as long as YMCMB doesn’t burn 25 million on promo for an album that can’t cross the one million mark and the 2nd video for a song that only peaked at 76 on the BB Hot 100 off of streaming and fell off the fallowing week, she’ll be fine. 🙂
