As her infectious cut ‘Black Widow’ weaves a Pop web on US Rhythmic radio, Pop princess Iggy Azalea has soared to to the top of the UK singles chart on the wings on Ariana Grande‘s ‘Problem.’

Serving as the first official single from Grande’s sophomore LP ‘My Everything‘, ‘Problem’ now sits atop the ‘Official Singles Chart‘ this week, marking the first #1 to be scored by either entertainer!
Doing so as her US #1 single ‘Fancy’ sails towards sales of 2.5 million units in the market, Iggy’s rise to the top of the UK charts comes courtesy of sales and streams garnered by ‘Problem’, with the ‘OFC’ explaining:
With 100 streams being equivalent to one single purchase, in the last week Problem has emerged as Britain’s biggest track of the week, powering its way to the summit with a combined ‘chart sales’ figure of 113,000. According toOfficial Charts Company data, this comprises 106,000 sales and a streaming contribution of 6% to this week’s historic chart topper based on 712,000 audio streams

Iggy’s rise is astounding to watch. The money that’s being spent to make sure her singles are being rotated on radio is more than most of you could imagine so I’m not surprised that she’s doing well with singles.
She is only being given this much money because she is white and beautiful, which is why her label are paying Pop and hip hop stations to play her songs but would never pay Pop stations to play music from one of their black singers.

This is Ariana’s single though, she doesn’t use payola. And I doubt Iggy is using it either since her songs have been charting off streaming points. Problem has been ahead of Fancy on US radio for the last two weeks. People will say anything to discredit her success. Why is it so hard to admit she made a great song that people like with a killer hook? The singles before Fancy didn’t do good, why would they randomly decide to pump millions in her now? Plus you have no proof of any of this.

Why do people really believe that these two will replace Mariah & Nicki? Nicki and Iggy are around the same generation, so if anything they are competing each other (don’t reply with N has platinum albums and etc… You know what I mean) & both are relevant female rappers which is what the game really really needed. As for Ariana, she is not Mariah’s replacement no matter how much she copies her. Mariah is cemented as a legend.
