Beyonce‘s lucrative partnership with HBO grows beefier by the day.
For fresh from the debut of her ten-week mini-series ‘Beyonce X10 and last year’s ‘Life Is But A Dream’ docu-movie, it has been announced the superstar singer’s new stadium tour with hubby Jay Z will be airing on the network in September.

In a statement unwrapped moments ago, HBO revealed details about their premiere of ‘On The Run Tour’. Peep the press release below…
Taping September 12 and 13 at Stade de France in Paris on the only international leg of their current tour, the special will feature the superstars performing more than 40 songs.
“This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO,” noted Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. “It’s going to be a night to remember.”
Although 17-time Grammy winner Beyoncé and 19-time Grammy winner JAY Z have recorded numerous hit songs together, including “Crazy in Love” and “Drunk in Love,” and have been special guests on each other’s tours, ON THE RUN TOUR: BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z marks the first time the married couple has toured together on the same bill. The tour covers 19 stadiums in the U.S. and two stadium shows in Paris. USA Today said of the tour, which began June 26 in Miami, “The coordination is not just remarkable, it’s the absolute best way that two of the world’s best performers can deliver a show that proves why they are on top together,” while the New York Times hailed it as “a show that acknowledged their two very different sorts of success without

That said, with the tour hitting the screen in its entirety in September, it does immediately throw into doubt those rumored UK dates, doesn’t it? If indeed, the trek wraps at the end of the Summer, one has to wonder what comes next for two of music’s biggest names.

Females once again dominated Billboard.com’s annual Mid-Year Music Poll, with two very different divas — Beyonce and Iggy Azalea — rising to the top after the first six months of the year.

The 2014 edition of the poll, which allowed fans to weigh in on their favorite artists, songs, albums and performances of the first half of the year, brought in hundreds of thousands of votes in 15 categories. When all was said and done, Beyonce — who rocked the music world last December by releasing her self-titled fifth full-length without warning — was named the First-Half MVP, capping off a run that included a Top 10 smash with “Drunk In Love,” blockbuster album sales, sold-out tour dates and a magnetic Grammy performance, among many other accomplishments for Queen Bey. “Beyonce” was also voted the Favorite No. 1 Billboard 200 album of 2014 so far, while Beyonce and Jay Z’s recently kicked-off ‘On The Run’ co-headlining tour was named the most anticipated music event of 2014’s second half when fans cast their votes back in June.

Close behind Beyonce for First-Half MVP, however, was hip-hop upstart Iggy Azalea, who finished second in the biggest category but was voted the Breakout Star of 2014’s first half, while her chart-topping anthem “Fancy” was named the Favorite No. 1 Hot 100 Song of the year and snagged Best Music Video as well. The Australian rapper’s Billboard Music Awards performance next to Ariana Grande and Charli XCX was also voted the half-year’s best televised performance, even topping Bruno Mars’ show-stopping Super Bowl performance.
Meanwhile, pop stars like Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga posted strong showings in the mid-year poll. Del Rey’s breakout performance at Coachella was named the best festival performance of the year so far, while Cyrus once again snagged the Best Style vote. Grande’s name popped up in multiple categories — her sophomore album “My Everything” is one of the most anticipated music events of 2014’s second half, according to voters — while Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP run was named the best tour of the half year. Voters were apparently bummed about the U.S. “X Factor” being cancelled, hopeful that Nicki Minaj’s “Pills N Potions” will dominate 2014’s second half, and thankful that Jason Derulo’s multiple Top 10 hits gave him a comeback to remember.
