Viewers of the show have long followed Traci’s story line of breaking from the shadows of stage fright and lack of confidence to stepping into the spotlight on her own. As her new single (released today) evidences, those shadows exist no more.

Now I know why Toni is a big as she was and her sisters are where they are. The fact that they had to auto tune her so much proves she is not a good singer so I don’t know why she even bothered. It took Tamar TWO years and three or four TV shows JUST to scan 100k so the fact remains that Toni is the only singer in the Braxton family who has/had what it takes/took.

I love the vocals on the chorus and the background vocals sound so lush. Of course she would get the background vocals right? since she has been singing backgrounds for years. I can’t with the autotune though, i can’t….She is degrading the Braxton brand with that. I think her true tone can be heard on the chorus, to me it’s kind of dark and a little deep, she needs to stick to that.
Not a bad track at all. Autotune wasn’t necessary and doesn’t really even work with the production. But overall, well done, Traci.

Toni is the only singer, performer, in this family. They all can sing but only Toni is the real artist. L.A. Reid said that years ago and as you can see he was right. Toni will be the only grammy winner in this family.

In this industry there are no chances you make hits are you don’t. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t have the whole package a chance won’t will not do s*** for you. The one thing a chance can get you is a title of a one hit wonder.
I like the song, not a bad start, in time she will grow, I just like her positive attitude, she’s able to come out of her shell after so many years, to do what she loves doing, regardless of her past! This is an album track, not really single material, imo.
There never came a moment that I was wowed in the song.
And yeah, you don’t autotune actual vocalists, so it made it sound like I was listening to her sing in a fish tank for a good chunk of the song.

I like it for what it is. She doesn’t have a top-notch team behind her. Lets be truthful, if Tamar didn’t have Vince this would be the type of songs she would be putting out.

Po Traci! They should not have let her release this mess. The song don’t make no kinda sense- it’s like a kid wrote it. The vocals are terribly produced and the sound is just not working. The single cover is nice tho.
