Why the bop will now become unavoidable on Urban radio?

Seemingly undeterred by her inconsistency as a performer, radio programmers on the format have thrown their support behind the song this week, arming it with more spins than any other songs in rotation!
Now placed two spots above Kid Ink‘s ‘Main Chick’, ‘On’s success on radio comes as it continues to rise on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ by way of sales and streaming points, enjoying a peak position of #27!
With so many R&B staples trying and failing to soar with Urban numbers, it’s both refreshing and exciting to see Tinashe fare so well.
However, not even the bright lights of the ‘Hot 100′ can excuse the fact that she’s incapable of singing live. Jarring, when one realises how much effort has been placed to ensure the single flies with very little attention given to the fact that she does not make for a natural performer.
So, should she have any hopes of being taken seriously as a live act, vocal lessons and time spent with Luam Keflezgy or Chris Grant will be necessary.
Choreographers, who we’d say could teach the star how to move more fluidly on stage.

She looks great in the 2nd promo pic, and cute in the 1at.
Tinache, I have found is pretty good with the studio tracks but live her voice is shaky, and sometimes she does to much on stage. Dancing to hard and no fluid movement. All she needs is a vocal coach and a proper dance instructor. She has potential. She needs to really apply herself, tho. #goodluck

Why do they pick her worst performance? Why not look up her performing Stunt at the SOBs or her performing at the BET awards? She has her good days and her bad days. Stop trying to make her look bad. There’s a bunch of videos of her singing the national anthem if you doubt her singing abilities

Tinashe is slaying plain and simple okay. She is a new act so her performances aren’t going to be as established as household names like Bey & Rih. For what she has right now is her natural talent and she is slaying as for live vocals this song doesn’t have much range or difficult notes so she can’t DESTROY the song. All in all Tinahse is slaying more “established acts” and I foresee a top 20 hit fingers crossed for a top 10.
She is coming man all she needs is a little more promo and obviously some work on her look, and performances but that will come over time.
