Usher may still be searching for a hit to setup his next studio album, however the said LP isn’t without an All-Star cast.
For, having drafted in the likes of Nicki Minaj and Pharrell Williams to work on the set, it has now been confirmed that Drake will lend his talents to the project.
Confirmation came courtesy of the Canadian-bred MC at his OVO Fest in Toronto last night.
Usher performed a mini set as a surprise guest, following which Drizzy revealed that he’ll be guesting on the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Looking 4 Myself’ much to the delight of the thousands in attendance.
This is exactly what the Comeback Dr ordered. Because, there’s little that can veil the fact that Mr Raymond is in urgent need of a radio hit (following the lukewarm performance of ‘Good Kisser’ and ‘She Came To Give It To You’). And while there’s no confirmation that the Drake cut is in contention for the single treatment, the rapper’s very presence feels like a much needed lifeline for the LP.
