The Wanted Singer Teams Up With Kelly Rowland Writer For Solo Project

Published: Friday 8th Aug 2014 by David

Has R&B found a new star in The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes? If his recent decision to work alongside hit maker Andre Merritt is anything to go by, the genre very may well have, set to be impacted by the star’s solo project in the next year!

Details below…

Responsible for Kelly Rowland‘s ‘Hangover‘, Merritt was reportedly handpicked by Sykes‘ camp to pen jams for his forthcoming solo release, coming after his band The Wanted announced they were to split after a short but sweet run atop the British charts.

Think he looks a little familiar? That’s because Nathan has previously been linked to R&B starlet Ariana Grande, with whom he collaborated with on the single ‘Almost is Never Enough.’

Your thoughts?

Slow news day? I’ve never heard of Andre Merritt, but you’re linking him to Kelly like he’s some super producer Jam & Lewis to her Janet…when my guess is that he was just another person she worked with at some point. As if this member of the Wanted is about to be hooked up “Kelly Rowland” style or something. LMAO! All to try and lure in people to comment on a rather dry item. Seriously, who cares?
