And the plot thickens.
Lil Kim‘s latest quest for relevancy appears to be much more aggressive than in past years. For, after launching a number of missiles at nemesis Nicki Minaj this week, the femcee is eyeing her rival’s rival – Iggy Azalea – for a collaboration.
Speaking during an interview with Hot 97 today to promote new single ‘No Mediocre’, Azalea’s mentor T.I. revealed to host Ebro:
“I got a call from Kim, She said it’s time to find that record to get [an Iggy collaboration] done.”
When quizzed on the supposed feud between Iggy and Nicki, the Atlanta rapper said:
“Well, in the game of chess, you must think five moves ahead, protect your pieces and cover the board.”
Additionally, when asked about Azalea’s possible Azalea duet with the recently-released Remy Ma, T.I.P added:
“I believe (Iggy’s) gonna be eager to show support…She with the nonsense.”

As (ridiculously) easily as it is to dismiss Kim’s “seek and destroy” mission, it certainly makes for compelling viewing. Like, this whole resurrection attempt has more twists and turns than a Sunset Beach episode. We’re hooked.
