I’m talking about vocally and based on songwriting. You can really feel james’ emotions and his songs have more of an edge. Say what you want about his actions, but he’s very talented. It’s tough coping with that sudden X factor fame. His music, before and after X factor, has always been great.
He has edge, I’m not a fan of his vocals personally but I feel that I connect on an emotional level with SAMs music. Listen to Nirvana and you’ll understand! Sam has simple lyrics that hit hard through his delivery, listen to Good thing. He represents the forgotten boy and reminds the masses that we hurt and have insecurities too, listen to Stay With Me. And he just has tunes, see his entire discography
