‘I Luv This Sh*t’ singer August Alsina received an outpouring of love from well-wishers shocked at reports that he had collapsed on stage during a show in the Big Apple last night. Just hours after premiering his highly anticipated video for ‘No Love’ ft. Nicki Minaj on BET’s ‘106 & Park,’ the R&B crooner took the stage at New York’s Irving Plaza where he shortly fainted thereafter.
Beforehand, Alsina was spotted dishing on his forthcoming tour with Usher, his buddy Chris Brown, love for Nicki Minaj, and so much more with ‘The Breakfast Club.’ The footage of the interview just made its way to the net today.

“A rep for the singer tells TMZ … August is in the ICU of a New York City hospital and receiving treatment for the seizures. The rep says doctors did not find any drugs — other than marijuana — in Alsina’s system … and at this point they believe the fainting was brought on by exhaustion and dehydration.”
