‘Hit ‘Em Up Style’ singer Blu Cantrell has been hospitalised this morning, detained by authorities after she was caught running through the streets of Santa Monica screaming that people were trying to kill her.

TMZ reports:
Cantrell went seemingly berserk in a Santa Monica neighbourhood around 2 AM on Wednesday. Witnesses tell us she was screaming about someone giving her “poisonous gas.” The episode went on long enough that someone called police.
We’re told when officers arrived, Blu — famous for her 2001 hit “Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)” — played the “do you know who I am card” … but also referred to herself as a “one hit wonder.”
Law enforcement sources tell us cops took Blu to a nearby hospital where doctors checked her out. We’re attempting to reach a rep to get an update on Blu’s condition, but so far … no luck.
