In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the EMAs have called on the Hip Hop heroine to host this year’s show, set to be held in the city of Glasgow on November 9th!
With a new album on the way, it’s fantastic to see Minaj flex her industry muscles to secure game-changing opportunities like this.
Perhaps, if she performs well on the night, this gig will make up for the fact that she’s never delivered a televised performance in the UK in the seven years since her arrival.
Criminal, when one considers just how popular she is in Europe and all the units she may have moved during her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ era had she performed on the likes of ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’, ‘The Graham Norton Show’ or the ‘X Factor UK.‘
Anyway, this is a great look and should hopefully mark the first steps taken to secure Minaj’s position in a market she’s already wildly popular in.
