The unstoppable Pop princesses that are Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora stopped by ‘Ellen‘s house today, treating the talk show host and her guests to a performance of their smash hit single ‘Black Widow.’
Packing the same live arrangement as their ‘MTV Video Music Awards’, their performance came equipped with a live orchestra and, rather unfortunately, another awful wig sported by the super talented Rita Ora, guilty of ageing her by about five or six years.

As awesome as its live arrangement was, we know we’re not the only ones who felt a little bored watching the above.
No, not because the ladies weren’t on point (because they were), but because thing took a turn for the ‘Choreography for Beginners’-worst before the second verse, seeing both ladies serve t.A.t.u-lite for an audience clearly unmoved by anything they were doing.
What might have worked better?
Iggy cat walking to the side of the stage like so, stalked by a slow shot that captures her entire body as she spits, “Till I’m everywhere that you be atI can’t fall back or quit“, and then rises to zoom into her face when she delivers “…Cause this here a fatal attraction so I take it all or I don’t want sh*t“, accompanied by a sinister wink and a ponytail whip.

I think it’s funny how much of their promotion centered around a ninja/Kill Bill thing and they aren’t able to translate that at all to performing – everything they do now looks like an ice skating theme from the costumes, blue lighting, fog machine, and ballerinas.

Also, Iggy needs to work on her breath control. For someone who’s style that is she seems to have trouble keepin up with her own flow and gets so breathless.

OMG!!! They blurred Rita Ora’s nip slip during the interview and no one told her, not even the dancers. What a shame!!!!
This is not acceptable. I know art can be unconventional at times but this made zero sense. The whole performance was just an incoherent mess. Both Iggy and Rita looked awkward and lacked charisma. Both of them need to work on their stage presence because their little dance movements at certain points in the song looked forced and out of place. Their outfits made them look like drag queens instead of assassins/ninjas . The dancers added no value whatsoever to this performance. Lastly, the song ironically ruins itself. It builds up too much hype and than goes flat like road kill.
