After watching this, I find it difficult to understand how anyone can call Flopnika Garbaj a true hip hop artist or a rapper. She’s more like a Fergie than she is a real rapper. She’s a pop artist and not a very good one. This performance shows how weak her discography is. There are no songs that she performed here that will be remembered in 10 years, much less 20.
I will say that this is one of her better performances, but she is STILL not great, and her music is very POOR. She cannot be considered the queen of anything, because any queen in music needs to demonstrate excellence not mediocrity. Lil’ Kim is the Queen of Rap, because she produces flawless bodies of work and her discography in rap is unmatched in terms of excellence. The only person who comes close is Missy Elliott.
If Flopnika really wants Lil’ Kim’s legacy, she’s gonna need to make some iconic hip hop songs and produce a critically acclaimed album. She hasn’t even come close to doing that. She doesn’t have it in her. She just doesn’t have what it takes to dethrone the Queen Bee, Lil’ Kim.
