Published: Saturday 20th Sep 2014 by David

The R&B icon that is Usher most certainly brought the heat to last night’s ‘iHeart Radio Music Festival’, sizzling on stage in ways that have to be seen to be believed.

Indeed, after delivering a number of forgettable performances in the last year, Raymond ensured his would be the name hot on everyone’s lips today with a show we hope teased what fans can expect from his forthcoming ‘The UR Experience’ tour.

How he did it?

Good music, Chris Brown and “hot shoes” below…

The song is starting to grow on me. 🙂

All these promo spots for an album that has been scrapped, shouldn’t he be in the studio? Beyonce’s bitchass should be the one performing, promote ya damn album h**!

    • Bey September 20, 2014

Dats true why is usher headlining and performing at all the shows with no album. But we only got two live performances from beyonce this year.

  4. FreeBreezyHo September 20, 2014

Usher album was pushed back because
No one wanted it. Word is his
    Tickets for the UrExperience tour
Is doing so poorly he will have
to cancel it, but is to ashame
to. When the tour gets cancelled
He should call it quits and retire

    • YG September 20, 2014

Your dumb as hell. Usher just killed dat stage and he’s been doing this for years. He’s not retiring anytime soon. He sold out a whole entire stadium a month before good kisser was released. On top of that he f***** HEADLINED the IHeartRadio musician festival. That mean Usher is and always be one the biggest superstars in music.

      • YG September 20, 2014

        Music festival

    • Good Kisser September 20, 2014

After this performance and him closing the show. No one should even have a debate about his star power.

    • Team Usher September 20, 2014

You should be happy that Usher let chris longtime dream of performing with him come true. If it wasn’t for Usher Chris would of never known how it feels like to close a big show like that

  5. Trigga September 20, 2014

Usher keeps slaying everytime ya try to say he a flop. He does something that shows he’s still the man. He alongside Justin Timberlake are the only males that closed the show.

    • FreeBreezyHo September 20, 2014

Usher fans be giving Usher to much
Credit. So what if he closed the
Show, and is invited to perform
At the MTV Awards. Why keep comparing
Him to JT? Timberlake has surpassed
Usher so far this year, you’ll should
Not even want their names to be in
The same sentence. Ok Usher sold 10 million
With Confessions but that was 10 years ago.
He can’t even get people to buy a .99 cent

      • Yeah!!! September 20, 2014

So wat dat means is usher is a more bigger star then your fave .

      • AmbeRussell September 21, 2014

I would prefer a talented “flopping” usher over the overrated justin timberlake ANYDAY. Justin isn’t as good as the media and white America would like to make him out to be, but they will show him as the best thing since slice bread. What’s the difference between 2020 vision a and b and future s** love sound? Looking at usher, u can hear the artistic difference with looking for myself, here I stand and Raymond vs Raymond

  6. Mike jack September 20, 2014

Now why can’t lil kim and Nicki do something like that ??

    • Grandma Bey September 20, 2014

Go shove it down your throat i’ll give you a hint, it’s 12″ and it’s attached to two sets of big balls at the end.

  7. Grandma Bey September 20, 2014

    Two nobodies meh.

  8. Timago September 20, 2014

    • Dunia September 20, 2014

i see the queen is missed…undercover rowlandstone

  9. Dev September 20, 2014

I’m not here for this. I’m not here for Chris singing over backing tracks, I’m not here for usher still making generic youth music. Usher is heading towards forty and is happy appealing to the masses when he really needs to cater for his long term fans. I was there got ushers first album and haven’t really enjoyed his music since confessions.
That Jordan flame at the end was stupid.

  10. Proud-Arianantor September 20, 2014

Lol at the Usher stan that keeps replying with multiple screen names 😆

    • Good Kisser September 20, 2014

U make no sense. Just stop talking

      • Team Usher September 20, 2014

If dats the case then beyonce has a Stan dat replys with 1000 different username

      • Proud-Arianantor September 20, 2014

        I see no lies

    • UGH September 20, 2014

Why is your fav stealing the Divorcing Chanteuse 1993 songs for a flop album???

      • Proud-Arianantor September 20, 2014

I’ll reply when you decide to come up with new shade and not that recycled rubbish

      • AmbeRussell September 21, 2014

But Ariana is recycling Mariah’s….umm never mind

  11. Stephy September 20, 2014

    Corny As Hell.

  12. Did you say Justin Bieber,one Direction,MILEY,lady gaga or BEYONCÈ September 20, 2014 @beykim

  13. Bree September 20, 2014

Usher is TIRED. No matter what he does, he will no longer sell. His fans have grown up and they don’t buy music. The young generation is more interested in CB and August Alsina. Usher peaked in 2005. His 20 remaining stans need to let it go.

    • Wayne world September 20, 2014

Usher fan base has no age limits he has fans from young to old that’s what makes him a multi-generational artist. You think he’s over when he’s still doing big things. Whether From 1994 til 2004 to 2014 people are still checking for Usher At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what u think cuz usher still headlining arena and festivals. He’s the only male r&b artist from the 90s that’s still relevant in the mainstream world. Oh and by the way he has 50 million fans on Facebook and 7.9 million on twitter. It’s safe to say he still has and is gaining stans. By the way Stay pressed b**** cuz dat n**** still dancing like he’s in his confession era

    • Yo September 20, 2014

Why can’t people be happy that an r&b/urban artist is closing and selling out arena/stadiums shows. Why do people here always try to drag the mainstream urban artists. Beside Beyonce,Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. Usher and Chris Brown are the only black successful urban/MAINSTREAM artists in this era. They’re not flops period. Now if u wanna talk about male r&b flops den u say Mario,Sisqo,Ginuwine and R Kelly becuz they will never perform at award shows or do these type of shows again. But u cant put usher or chris brown in that list because they’re still relevant and the young generation loves them. Trust me the young people kno usher very well cuz of his pop songs

  14. #TeamTinashe Stan (Pre-Order “Aquarius” Now On iTunes) September 20, 2014

    Usher killed it!!

  15. Trigga September 20, 2014

Lmao too those people dat say Usher is over you all look so stupid. He just headlined a concert dat featured Nicki Minaj,Ariana grande,Montey cruise and taylor swift . Just accept that Usher is here to stay

    • BEYONCÉ September 20, 2014

But where is Good Kisser and the song with Nicki on the charts?

      • Team Usher September 20, 2014

Where’s pretty hurt and xo on the chart b****?

      • Good Kisser September 20, 2014

He still a better performer then you bey

  16. cleverclover September 20, 2014

Usher is doing alright. His latest song is in a commercial and doing well overseas. He’s doing alright just needs to do a little better with promo

  17. Tino September 20, 2014

SMDH at these haters calling him irrelevant and washed up, then why are u taking time to comment on a post about him?? if he was irrelevant he wouldn’t be performing or the seats would be empty, he was the last performer and the place was still packed cause they wanted to see the true icon that is USHER

  18. Tino September 20, 2014

and can someone please tell me how jt is supposedly surpassed usher when usher has sold way more albums, has way more number ones and has influenced way more artist including jt himself
