The X Factor UK 2014 saw its 1st set of eliminations tonight. Find out who’s heading home this week below…

After immediately waving goodbye to Blonde Electra due to the duo earning the least viewer support, Stephanie Nala and Overload Generation were revealed as the next acts who polled lowest in the public vote this week. Both would go on to battle it out in the sing-off.

Boyband Overload were up first, with Nala following with Brandy’s ‘Have You Ever’.

With the judges unable to reach a majority vote, the power was thrown back to the public tally – which confirmed Overload Generation as the contestants with the least total votes. As such, they were sent home – leaving Nala to sing on for another week.

The X Factor UK continues on ITV1 next Saturday.

Why do they have on the UK show someone who was arrested for racial assault judging and mentoring black talent?

Um… She was married to a black man for 4 years and then in a relationship with another for like a year… And we don’t even know the real story of who hit who first…
