Rita Ora remains hard at work on her second studio album (which’ll also dub as her American debut), yet the rising star is smartly staying in the spotlight.

For beyond bagging a bevy of endorsements, as well as a coaching gig on The Voice UK, the Roc Nation priority has also landed the lead single on the soundtrack to new movie ‘Beyond The Lights’.

Christened ‘Grateful’, the track awaits below…

Cute.

But, we’re grateful this isn’t music from Rita’s all-important new LP.

For, in proving her worth on the branding side of things, she’s created in parallel the necessity for her music to match such success. Therefore, everything from here on out needs to come swinging with one jab of “undeniable” and another of “instant hit”.

Your thoughts?

It sounds like a soundtrack song, cheesy yet uplifting. I like it, wouldn’t listen to it again but it was cute. I’m ready for another Rita SINGLE though. I Will Never Let You Down was a jam

3 dislikes already.. Clearly the critic has haters. What did I say?

It’s because you didn’t read where it says the song is for a soundtrack…..

      • Everyone’s A Critic October 23, 2014

I guess you didn’t read in my comment where it starts with the sentence… IT SOUNDS LIKE A SOUNDTRACK SONG. My whole comment was based on what I READ in the article dumb a***!

Diane warren wrote it. It’s so boring and not one of her best. I was here is so much better.

    • Adele the Queen October 23, 2014

Your fav is the MOST basic singer ever. She makes Rihanna sound like Whitney Houston

      • Everyone’s A Critic October 23, 2014

Ain’t that the truth! Take your Cheryl Cole Versace (whatever her name is) loving a*** away from threads not concerning her!

      • CherylSoldier October 23, 2014

Remember when Adele covered Cheryl’s song and said “she absolutely loves her”? Kiiiiiiii. Sit.

      • Adele the Queen October 23, 2014

I do remember that, however how does that have to do with the fact that your fav has non-existing vocals? Sense of stupidity I infer

      • CherylSoldier October 23, 2014

It means your fave thinks she’s a great singer b****. She’s sold millions and won a singing contest. She’s sold more than ora. Your opinion means nothing. GTFO my mentions lol

    Grateful?
    .
I’m grateful that she’s still unknown because imagine all the poor people that had to listen to this mess if she was at the top.

The song is ok. I really like her voice though. She actually has vocal talent. Why do people compare her to Rihanna
    again?

    • Adele the Queen October 23, 2014

I wonder the same thing too. I love Rihanna but she cant sing compared to this girl

  10. ronnoc October 23, 2014

Sam why do you stan for this girl? She’s just another JHud.. pretty, nice voice. But her music is complete trash.
