You cannot put on a concert where you are selling tickets and not pay licensing fees to the publishing companies that administer the rights to the songs being performed. That Foxy used to be on Def Jam has nothing to do with the price of tea in China. Def Jam owns the rights to the audio recordings of her songs but not to the actual song. She got her coin from this performance and so did whoever else is listed as a co-writer. Learn from this!
