‘SNL’ continues to see its 40th season rock ratings with a slew of the year’s top musical acts…and tonight was no exception. With funnyman Jim Carrey in tow as the host, the night’s episode brought with it the musical stylings of serial hitmaker Iggy Azalea.
In addition to wielding a medley of hits featuring #1 smash ‘Fancy’ and its top 5 follow-up ‘Black Widow’ (featuring Rita Ora), the Aussie diva also bounced into a live rendition of her newest single ‘Beg For It.’

Poor MO. She is going to hear sh it, for having in-ear hearing difficulties. But IGGY was finally providing a performance worth watching and hitting her steps. Nrmally she looks so bored but she worked it with her Janet Jackson performance mic, LOL!
Good showings, too bad the MO issues singing behind the chorus most of the time will be what most point out from it.
I can appreciate how tightly choreographed these performances were. Iggy came through and did her thing. (In fact, after watching her perform I truly think she has her sights set on being a Pop Star more than honing her rhymes. Which imo is a very good thing for her. It would feel less forced and that’s what she originally wanted to do with her career anayway.) Rita sounded great, per usual. But that MØ chick was singing and dancing like she was on something of the Britney circa 2006-07 variety. Very entertaining set, overall.

This was absolutely horrendous. Iggy girl, you really did try your best and I have to give you kudos for incorporating choreography but you don’t have natural rhythm or a natural rapping flow so you looked awkward everytime you tried to do a move that hadn’t been choreographed for you.

See what happens when you let money run your career for you? Iggy gets an A for effort but we can all see that she struggled so much through all the performances. Her flow sounded forced and it felt like she was going through the motions when she was trying to slay the choreography.
Rita was unrehearsed and that MO girl should be ashamed of herself.
You know when someone tries to slay but doesn’t have the natural ability to do it? Yeah that. Anyway lemme not give Iggy too much cos she was working the f*** out of her choreography as best she could, but as for Rita and NO? Excuse me as I shake my head.
