Immature are back!

22 years after their Chris Strokes-backed debut, the R&B trio have set their sights on fresh chart glory this year, reforming to release brand new material.

Seemingly undeterred (or unaware) of the obstacles recent revelations have thrown on their path, their comeback will bring it with a brand spanking new show, set to be supported by their new single ‘Let Me Know.’

Will good music be what it takes to clean up the mess that currently sullies their legacy?

      • BeyRihLiyah November 26, 2014

for one bey ,rih and aaliyah’s “r&b” music isn’t the typical “r&b” music they dip and dab with other sounds and genres with their songs

      • BeyRihLiyah November 26, 2014

      • Sherry November 26, 2014

    • DTG November 26, 2014

BeyRihLiyah, you are immensely retarded and are depriving some village of an idiot. Seriously, go home.

    • IcyOne November 26, 2014

Right….because songs like “Me Myself and I,” “Ego,” “Dangerously In Love,” “Love On Top,” “Back And Forth,” “At Your Best,” “If Your Girl Only Knew,” and “I Care For You” aren’t R&B. You just exposed yourself as a fake, and a clueless one at that. I swear you put the “um” in dumb. There’s enough air in your head to inspire a cyclone.

Glad to see them coming out with new music! Love the song!

Been playing this song since I heard it!! Good song!!

  2. nobitchassness November 26, 2014

If they do this correctly, it’ll be a good comeback.

    Let’s hope.

  3. Yea ok November 26, 2014

I was prepared to hate this but I actually don’t. I just hope everything isn’t about s**. They sound nice though. They were everything back in the day. Lol

  4. DanYiel Teflon November 26, 2014

I actually like this sound & I hope they get it in order!!

  5. Sherry November 26, 2014

I honestly don’t remember them. I remember when they were IMX and came out with “My First Time” – that was my song! Unfortunately no one will be checking for them, just like Jagged Edge, Day26, Dru Hill and other boy groups who tried to make a comeback.

    • FixItJesus November 26, 2014

Girl! How can you “honestly” not remember them then turn around & name one of their biggest songs? You’ll be checkin for em, just like you checked this post!

      • Sherry November 26, 2014

I cannot name an Immature song! I only knew that song from when they changed their name! If you woulda asked me who Marques Houston was I would say Roger from Sister Sister! I didn’t even listen to the song, so no I am not checking! Bloop BLOOP!

    • AmbeRussell November 27, 2014

I can honestly agree with u. Idk any song besies my first time. Lets not act like they were a huge successful group. Hey weren’t as big as b2k, their spin off group.

  6. Mark111 November 26, 2014

    Go home Roger!

    • Sherry November 26, 2014

      LOLLLLLL!

    • King M.J November 26, 2014

      LOL.

  7. I STAN(D) FOR TALENT November 26, 2014

I think they’ll do well in the club circuits. As for being mainstream again, I doubt it.

  8. musicMatters101 November 26, 2014

Why “Immature” when they dropped that name in the 90s in favor of IMx tho? weird.

  9. Logan November 26, 2014

You have the title of the song wrong in the post though. It’s called let me find out not let me know.

  10. Mark111 is a homosexual November 26, 2014

Did you say “Legacy?” This is Immature, not Boyz II Men or Jodeci. Immature has no legacy. They were a kiddie wannabe male version of TLC that never really popped off the way they tried to.

  11. cocobutta November 26, 2014

    So damn repetitive.
The lyrical needs an upgrade like my Sony z2.

    Wanted more fuller sound

  12. Junior in Jamaica November 26, 2014

    AWFUL AUTO TUNE MESS!

  13. TheElusiveLamb November 26, 2014

Surprisingly not bad, but it does need a little more. They should use it as a buzz single and do an official single next go round.

  14. Oprah stan November 27, 2014

They were never popping. They have no classic hits or memorable moments.

  15. Maggie G November 27, 2014

Glad to see them coming out with new music! Love the song!

  16. tom cavanagh November 27, 2014

    Big fan #goodmusic

  17. Arianator Barb November 27, 2014

They need to do a song with future.

  18. biting truth November 27, 2014

I hate when years after the fact people try to remember it completely opposite of the way it actually happened. I [unfortunately] remember Immature very well; and despite a few minor hits here and there, they have no legacy. Despite attempts to spin hype, their overall success was always on the lite side. Imagine a low budget black version of One Direction with one or two less members and not half the notoriety and that was them. No one but little black girls between the ages of like 9 and 13 really took them seriously. A friend of mine took her little sister to see them in concert and said that the crowd looked like something from Sesame Street on Ice. They even changed their name in an attempt to reinvent themselves, which didn’t work. Now after a dozen failed attempts to launch a solo career Marques Houston is trying to relaunch this group that time had almost erased, now a trio of 30-somethings, under their original banner. LOL no.
