The Maybach Music Group crooner has been teasing new album ‘Sex Playlist’ for the longest, however it appears the VH1 show has helped expedite the release process for the project. Because, today brought with the arrival of its official lead single ‘Post To Be’.
Featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko, the club cut (produced by DJ Mustard) awaits below. Check it out….
For what it is (a contemporary club cut), the track works and smartly places the former B2K’er in the mix of what’s moving and shaking on the radio at the moment. The guest features and subtle Chaka Demus and Pliers sample (‘Murder She Wrote’) were great touches too.
Yet, as supporters of the Omarion that delivered progressive hits such as ‘Ice Box’ and ‘Touch’, we are left wondering how solid a foundation this song will establish to sell a full album.
Still, in the here and now, kudos are due. After all, how many acts can say they debuted in the early 00’s and still enjoy a degree of relevance 10, 11, 12 years later?
Like it. Omarion’s last mixtape ensured me that this album is gonna be great! 🙂

Umm I like Jhene’s part. Other than that this is a cute song to ride out to. Omarion is good for making music you can listn to in the car.
I used to STANNNN for Omarion and B2K like really bad but this does nothing for me. I would love for him to make a comeback, but this isn’t it.

This was cute, but it sounds LIKE EVERYTHING else being put out right now. Like seriously, I could have swore it was a 2 On, Loyal, and Don’t Tell ‘Em mashup. However, Jhenè did her thing. Still cute overall though.
