The Vocal Bible Brandy has been hard at work sewing together her new studio album, her first since 2012’s ‘Two Eleven’.

Juggling recording with her acting gig on ‘The Game’, B-Rocka hit the studio with Oak Felder and Pop Wansel over the weekend to cook up songs for the as yet untitled set.

With fans thirsty for previews of new music, the singer obliged with two snippets.

She is such a commercial flop. I can’t believe any label is still giving this woman money to record music.

  2. Stacy December 8, 2014

I will never get that vocal bible crap, but one things for certain, her album “Never say never” was everything.

    • DanYiel Teflon December 8, 2014

      “Never Say Never” TRUE CLASSIC!!

    • Victoria Beckham December 8, 2014

She is still better singer compare to fraudyonce.

      • laughing at you December 8, 2014

Lol your creditibility stops there ha ha ha lmao

  3. Kitty Puurrzz December 8, 2014

This girl is such a FLOP. Yall gas her as if she’s something special. Maybe in the 90s but in the world of BEYONCÉ, RIHANNA … No one cares about this chick.

  4. Stephy December 8, 2014

    Flop Number 4 …

  5. Yupthasme December 8, 2014

Y’all haters sound so dumb. Yes vocal bible… She shuts Beyoncé and Rihanna all the way down.. She’s an actual artist. She don’t care about this commercial s***.. Real artist tend not too.. She’s a vocalist.. She cares about giving her actual heart to her fans with her music.. She’s been commercially successful already. F*** outta here with that hatin s***. Just enjoy good music…

See I Love Brandy’s sound but to Down Beyoncé during your shade fest is unreal!! Now Ri-Whine-A SURE THAT VOICE SUCKS!!

    • Chile Please!!! December 8, 2014

Yeessss finally! Someone speaking the truth! Brandy is a true gut singer! Shes not about that commercial
      life!

  6. Sherry December 8, 2014

The flop comments are sooooooooooo boring now! Brandy isn’t selling like back in the day, but her music is still good. She doesn’t have one bad album. Same with Monica! I will take them over the boring, vocally uninteresting R&B chicks of today. The clip sounds very promising and her harmonies are so pretty/haunting.

Finally some truth instead of this lame delusional recycled wanna be reads. Most of the people commenting on this site are flops in real life, and that’s why they live on this blog calling these artist whom love what they do and makes major bank off of it, flops.

  7. DanYiel Teflon December 8, 2014

Now Brandy & Monica & Beyonce slay vocally the voice that ALWAYS ANNOYS ME IS
Ri-Whine-A that goatish sound slays people WHO DON’T know music in general!!

  8. QD December 8, 2014

I’ll never understand why artist way past their commercial prime wont just go indie and stop wasting major labels funds and give their fans(What’s left of them) new material every so often.
The problem with Brandy fans are that they are delusional. What does Beyonce, the better singer or Rihanna the more famous artist have to do with anything? They both have managed to stay relevant, with more impact than Brandy could ever dream of without a sitcom etc..
Brandy fans do nothing but pay lip service, all the while forgetting along the way to buy albums and singles!Brandy has been unmarketable since 2004…the song sounds like all her other stuff as well

    • The Truth Will Set You Free! December 8, 2014

Dying at you thinking they have more impact than Brandy. Go do some research please.
All I’mma say is being the First Black Cinderella out ways all of Rihanna’s accomplishments.
Now Hell f****** yes Beyonce is influential as f*** but as an entertainer.
Brandy is influential as a vocalist and as a true musician, honey lets talk about how her full moon album which is a staple in R&B music. What Brandy did which Bey is yet to do is create her own sound (Full Moon album) Aaliyah and Timb, Kelis and The Neptunes, Brandy and Rodney[Darkchild]. These are people who got in the studio and produced a sound that was different and is still copied in music today. That’s Influence and that’s why Brandy will always have more impact on music than Rihanna and Beyonce.

Even if her cd was to flop she is still a legend her voice which was already amazing in the 90s has gotten nothing but better with time,I CANT wait until the new music drops,Just remember she is more than likely your legends legend..

  10. B’Rocka Slays December 8, 2014

I Cannot wait for the new material, definitely looking forward to it

  11. Beysus December 8, 2014

Yea it’s gonna flop but that first song though…

  12. StarXavi December 8, 2014

Brandy has already been commercially successful and paved the way for so many of today’s current stars. I want the word flop to be deleted from the vocab of this site its so annoying. I will buy her next album. Hopefully the label’s single choices actually give this album a chance to breathe and live. I love Brandy!

  13. cocobutta December 8, 2014

He runs are arguably the best in the game outside of the gospel field. My gurl Mo & Bey can execute some hot riffs but Bran just fire on them.

Jazmine Sullivan prob the best of the youngers.

  14. BeautifulDisaster89 December 8, 2014

It sounds great! My only thing is I really want her to win but I feel like she does the promo and she comes out with good music she hasn’t been able get a broader fanbase. It’s like she’s missing an ingredient or something. Nevertheless I will be buying her album because she makes quality music IMO

  15. TheElusiveLamb December 8, 2014

I STILL can’t figure out why they sleep on the Vocal Bible.

  16. lavonc2002 December 8, 2014

    This dope ass b****,smh

  17. Carry On December 8, 2014

Why do people bring other artist to bring one down? That show right there that YOU are not mature enough to handle good sounding music. You have lengthen yourself into making a comment to justify the wrongdoing in the industry. That behavior sounds very threatening too. When you have to ask about the past, present and not the future you are delinquent. No one ask you about your favorite artist and her fan base is fine. We don’t need no in’s and out’s to deliver a message. Thank You, Peace.

  18. KMilli December 8, 2014

Brandy has been dropping amazing albums 20 years now & still perched on #1 sitcoms #WINNiNG!!

  19. Eclectech December 8, 2014

I get so sick of these flop comments. Brandy is one of the few artists where I will buy the CD without hearing a single track. She has been a consistently great vocalist who sings with great passion. It’s sad we judge an artist’s worth based on how many records they’ve sold. Good music endures.

  20. RoyalKev December 8, 2014

Bran’s harmonies always gives me chills. I’m so ready for new music by her. I already know that I’ll run that album into the ground for a month straight!

  21. BeyRihLiyah December 8, 2014

yawn her this sounds like her typical flop shitt smh she really boxed herself

  22. ImJustSaying December 8, 2014

I am a bit unmoved.. those harmonies isnt anything exciting.. im a brandy fan n I am expecting a bit more from her. Everything in recent years that she has released sounds the same with very little variances. This sounds like an extention of two eleven and although I loved the album I would like to hear, see more progress. Hope brandy sees this. Coming from a true fan who “purchases” music n all of hers.

  23. Blacksista December 8, 2014

EVERYBODY Flopping WAKEUP and find another word. True music lover don’t care about sales!
