It may have debuted at the 251,000 mark in the US, but Nicki Minaj‘s ‘The Pinkprint’ has failed to soar as high in international skies this week, moving less than 45,000 units outside of her domestic market.
Though doing very little to shake her status as the world’s highest selling female rapper, global sales of her new album were so low that she failed to crack the Top Ten in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland and Germany, where it debuted at #69.
Fortunately, it wasn’t all bad news for the performer.

The rapper debuts two star-assisted tracks on the Hot 100, furthering her Hot 100 achievements on two levels. “Feeling Myself,” featuring Beyonce, starts at No. 43, and “Get on Your Knees,” featuring Ariana Grande, enters at No. 88. With the bows, Minaj ups her count to 58 career Hot 100 hits, passing Madonna and Dionne Warwick (56 each) for the third-best total among women. Aretha Franklin leads with 73, followed by Taylor Swift (66).
Minaj has sold 65 million singles since the release of her debut mixtape ‘Playtime is Over.‘

Internationally Nicki is very much a force I think her being everywhere has actually done her more harm than good but hopefully with her tour ventures sales will show an increase.
