Jordin Sparks has found a new home in ‘Louder than Life’ records this year, joining the label after it launched the music career of ‘Own It‘ singer Mack Wilds.
Good news below…
Credited for steering Wilds’ career to relevant ground and enjoying a successful run as Executive Vice President of A&R and Production for Sony Music, Salaam Remi has now been tasked with leading Jordin Sparks to higher musical ground after welcoming her to ‘Life’, where he stands as CEO.
Responsible for producing Amy Winehouse‘s ‘Tears Dry on Their Own’, Jazmine Sullivan‘s ‘Bust Your Windows’ and Miguel‘s ‘How Many Drinks‘, Remi will join Jordin to release her new studio album ‘Right Here, Right Now‘ next year, eight years after she was crowned the winner of ‘American Idol’s sixth season.
On the move, Jordin shared:
I am very excited to be working alongside Salaam Remi on my next album. Together, we have created something special. I’m very proud of it and can’t wait to share it!
So is she independent now?
I guess you skipped the entire opening paragraph…SHE is not indie. She’s signed to a label that’s small/indie
why is this a must read?
Lol!
Thank you. Based on that whack ass single she released, seemingly forgetting she’s AI alum, this will be a short-lived relationship. She has no idea who she is as an artist, and doesn’t have the team backing her to stick to whatever it is she’s good at.
Anybody want to save a career? Please say “No.”
well we already established that when she dropped the mixtape…she stated that he gets her and was responsible for the #byefelicia mixtape as well! she will be fine though she talented and i like her urban sound.
I haven’t dug her music since “No Air” Feat Chris Brown!! I’m excited for the New Jordin Sparks!!
Ppl sleep on her she has one of the greatest voice om glad she getting edgy she have i will support yass
She’s wack. Case closed.
