Has Madonna hired Olivia Pope?

It sure seems so.

For, after starting the week in angst following the leak of much of her new album, the Pop queen ends on a high with a series of major announcements.

The first is the LP has officially been christened ‘Rebel Heart’.

Together with the project’s cover, the 56-year-old revealed its official cover, release date, and unique roll-out plan.

Details below…

Taking to Twitter, the Material Girl confirmed that ‘Rebel’ will officially hit stores in the first week of March 2015 via Interscope. Prior to then, all who pre-order the hotly anticipated set will immediately receive finished versions of six of the songs leaked this week.

What’s more, additional new numbers will be made available in February prior to the project’s full retail arrival. {In total, it appears the LP will house 19 tracks – half a dozen served now and the others served in portions thereafter}

Speaking on today’s early release in a statement, Madge said:

“I was hoping to release my new single ‘Living for Love’ on Valentine’s Day with the rest of the album coming in the spring. I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift.”

  6. Charlieyoncé December 20, 2014

    QUEEN! F***ING QUEEN!!

  7. blue December 20, 2014

i cant with the behave thinking anyone who doesnt do a traditional roll out is somehow inspired by their fav. Give .it a rest its been a year and that impact is nowhere to be seen.

Hows is actually a clever way to recover from a really tragic situation, a lesser would have pushed back the album to 2016.

  8. Mr Yea ok December 20, 2014

Ummm. No shade but I preorderd and just listened and I have to admit all 6 of these songs are really good. I’m actually shocked. Thank god for Kanye diplo and other producers. They did right by her. Can’t wait to get the rest. And can we talk about how the cover is slaying life? Oh. And my queen Bey got a shoutout on Illuminati. As a matter fact the first name mentioned. Boss.

    • blue December 20, 2014

actually jay came first but practically the same thing

  9. Mr Yea ok December 20, 2014

It does kind of suck that her new single living for love wasn’t released on valentines day. That would have been perfect. I hope it does well for her.

  10. Derrick Vazquez-Velazquez December 20, 2014

Madonna is brilliant it’s not a stunt at all. She is Genuine and want to release the best for her fans. It hurts me to bring up but if gaga did this people would praise it. youtube Madonnas tours and videos on youtube and you’ll understand why she is QUEEN of POP the CREATIVE QUEEN. sHE’S BEEN AROUND FOR DECADES AND YOU PEASANTS WILL DEAL!

    • Meteorite December 20, 2014

      Couldn’t agree more.

    • JOHNVIDAL December 20, 2014

Hmm LOL sorry but Madonna is teh queen of conrtoverysy and publicity stunts. We will never know, but this could be another stunt again. About Gaga: How? When she is hated for absolutely everything she does? If Gaga did this right now she would have it harder than Madonna if anything. Are you leaving under a rock? It´s not 2009.

  11. Absolved December 20, 2014

Billboard did say that Beyoncé was a “game changer,” and it looks like they were right.

  12. Meteorite December 20, 2014

    I’m feeling “Living For Love”

    • Meteorite December 20, 2014

It’s like “Like a Prayer” meets “Let There Be Love” (Christina Aguilera)
I’m liking these tracks. Much better than MDNA to me at least.

  13. Bitchplease December 20, 2014

Bey impact but y’all forget Bey didn’t just released the album though. She did a supadupa sellout arena tour promoting the album before boom! so half of the audience from the tour including were already expecting to own it pronto! Anyone try doing that without a huge sellout tours to promote beforehand will regret it for the rest of their sad lives.lol

    • Kyle December 20, 2014

      And? Its still her impact

  14. Dossome December 20, 2014

These 6 songs alone>>>>>>MDNA and Hard Candy COMBINED!!!!!!!!!!

    • JOHNVIDAL December 20, 2014

      Yep. MDNA was not good.

  15. Dossome December 20, 2014

“surprise” releases are proving to be alot more effective than the traditional approach after all.Industry need long-term solutions though because this is pretty temporary.

    • JOHNVIDAL December 20, 2014

      You always so wise.

    • Brian310 December 22, 2014

They need to let go of physical releases and just have artist release digitally. ..it makes pirating more difficult

  16. Hahaha December 20, 2014

That album cover is really nice.

  17. RoyalKev December 20, 2014

Nice cover (reminds me of Human Nature, which is my favorite video by her). Some of these songs are ok, I like Ghosttown!

  18. King B December 20, 2014

yas madge you betta go Beyonce on their ass!!! that cover slay, living for love slay, good luck I for one will be buying the album

  19. I STAN(D) FOR TALENT December 20, 2014

The album cover is dope. I just hope she doesn’t show anymore skin. Grandma needs to be more like Janet; Sassy yet classy.

  20. Liam December 20, 2014

the cover is dope…and i’m loving Ghosttown! this is really a step up from MDNA and a step up from Hard Candy…i love the roll out considering the leaks that recently happened.

  21. SMH December 20, 2014

Smh I knew it. I knew that whole leak business and her fake anger over it was just another desperate publicity stunt from camp madonna. This woman can’t do anything without attaching some kind of controversy to it. Pathetic. A real Queen of Pop doesn’t have to depend on gimmicks to sell her music. And a real Queen of Pop doesn’t have to copy another artists idea to release her music either. But what do you expect from a woman who built her career on stolen ideas.

    • MovieAmi December 20, 2014

A real Queen Of Pop does whatever the fvck she wants to do and is obvious to clowns on the internet who only have blog comment section to vent their shitspeak. Heh!

  22. LOL December 20, 2014

LOL SO NOW SHE’S COPYING GAGA AND BEYONCE TOO? LMAO GIVE IT UP, GRANNY. SHADY PINES IS CALLING FOR YOU LOL

    • Kyle December 20, 2014

Well Gaga copied madonna for 99% of her career so…

  23. LOL December 20, 2014

LOL SHE SHOULD RENAME THE ALBUM PLAGIARIST HEART LOL

  24. tits mcgee December 20, 2014

I haven’t yet heard the songs, but the album cover is amazing..

  25. tits mcgee December 20, 2014

She could put out an album of farts and it would be better than MDNA, and most of Hard Candy…

  26. markus December 20, 2014

already have the 6. and i’m feeling LIVING FOR LOVE, B**** IM MADONNA AND DEVIL CRY. If all 6 songs enter the US Hot 100 next week, she’d be doin’ a taylor or a Glee cast thing. And that would be awesome. I cant wait to see these songs chart. I think, DEVIL CRY might enter the top 10. just sayin, it’s kinda like a prayer

  27. JOHNVIDAL December 20, 2014

I mean, the cover is GREAT! But I´m confused. That is a photo from 1989 right? I need @s****** to explain it cause I´m sure he is better informed than me. That sure isn´t her face now, or in 2000 and not even in 1998 when Ray of Light was released.
If she´s trying to pass it like her current face then I need everybody to stop with the airbrushing hate other celebs get non stop 🙂

  28. JOHNVIDAL December 20, 2014

If the new released songs are really finished then now I´ll finally listen. Not here for leaks or unfinished stuff, I love my music.

  29. Paulo December 20, 2014

Great cover wack material. Come on Gramma…

  30. rihicon December 20, 2014

  32. Jake December 20, 2014

Living for Love, Devil Pray and Ghosttown are her best work in a decade. The rest are fun party/workout tracks. The Queen has my attention and my $. Can’t wait for the rest.

For the record she is inspirational. You should all hope everyone will Stan are care about your fav 31 years into their career. Madonna is iconic and unrivaled on her throne.

  33. Kiyonce’ December 21, 2014
