From an underground rap group to a mainstream mainstay, the Black Eyed Peas have enjoyed an incredible run.

Following the 2011 announcement that they were taking a break, the assumption was that it was a politically correct means of disbanding.

After all, at the time, their then-new LP ‘The Beginning’ failed to match the success of its predecessor ‘The E.N.D’ and the overall climate for their product had cooled.

However, founding member will.i.am has dispelled any such doubt.

See what he told a fan when quizzed on the group’s future below…

Interesting, especially in light of Fergie‘s recent solo return.

Would you be buzzed for a BEP comeback?

Your thoughts?

If so, they need to step outside the box this time! Quit with the cheesy a** songs and self served album titles.

Well I’m ready for there return!!

Correction it should be: Well I’m ready for THEIR return.
Why does it matter you may ask? Because THERE is an adverb in reference to a place or position. On opposite THEIR is a pronoun in reference to a person and or personal possession.
      =)

Only interested if they give me songs like “Where Is the Love” and “Let’s Get It Started.” If they plan on coming back on that Boom Boom Pow/I Got a Feeling sh!t, then they can stay gone. BEP were the ones who initiated awful electropop phase that took the music business hostage in the early 2010s that opened the doors for BS like Gaga, Katy, Derulo, Pitbull, sellout Usher, etc., etc. the business still hasn’t fully recovered from.

Lady Gaga’s ‘The Fame’ debuted 8/19/2008. I Gotta Feeling came out 5/21/2009. The BEP didn’t open the doors for electropop phase. Your logic is flawed.

      Back to the drawing board.

Good for them. Their positive energy is kinda missing right now.

Obviously lol. Look at the comments. These miserable people need some positivity in their lives.

Will.i.am went from 100 – 0, Fergie went from 100 – 50. I don’t think another revival will work. But the other two need to pay their bills so I’ll support.

Sometimes I really wonder about the lives of the people on this site. They always seem pressed, and lame. Like all you all do is throw shade. I’m very confused on this statement, when various people stay quotting their faves chart position. So I’m confused on Gergie’s comeback being at a 50 when her single continues to rise up the charts every week. Her single was 36 on the charts, which before it was still on the top 100, but I believe somewhere need the end of the top 50. Now it’s at #27. It could easily move up to top 10 considering, she’s only performed the song like once (if not a few other times)

Lol all of these artists trying to make comebacks. They will probably do well seeing as though their music is very cheesy and generic:

God please NO! lol All their last work was awful and William is just… terrible in general for a long time now.
