‘Behind the Front’ performers Black Eyed Peas have announced they are to reunite this year, regrouping to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their formation in 1995.

Full story below…

13 years after welcoming Fergie to the group, the Peas are to release brand new material to celebrate the milestone, seeing the news announced by member will.i.am during a recent interview with British radio station ‘Capital.’

He revealed:

OK, I can’t give too many details, but there’s a bunch of Pea Bodies out there that we’ve been tweeting back and forth for the past couple of days over the excitement of 20 years of Black Eyed Peas.

We’re going to have new music. We’ll have a bunch of new experiences. I don’t want to call them albums, but we’ll have some experiences and a bunch of stuff to get the Pea Bodies and the folks that supported us and got us to this point.

So we’ll make music for them and we’ll just reflect on the dream. The initial dream we had, June 1995.

I just hope it is more like everything before the END than after because their music had meaning and was fun. Now it is just generic and corny. Also I don’t want this to be a Fergie featuring BEP, bc we barely hear the other 2 guys rap.
And they were much more on a social movement, Common style rap group/tribe called quest like back then.

Well i guess then if you like the Taboo Apl then the Bridging The Gap album you would love cause that’s personally their best album to me.

They ruined the music industry 7 years ago with their top 40 hits and their here to do it again. Great.

They will def be doing an eclectic style again, and bring back their Hip Hop roots. But I don’t think it will be an album per-se he keeps referring to it as an experience. I think it will be something innovational personally.

Any who I am here for it. Hopefully it doesn’t affect Fergie solo music and album tho.
