Chart Check: Sam Smith Returns To The Top Of UK Albums Chart

Published: Monday 12th Jan 2015 by David

Sam Smith‘s ‘In the Lonely Hour’ returns to the Official Albums Chart this week, reclaiming the top spot for the fifth time since its release!

Good news for the soulful singer below…

Yet to leave the Top Ten since it dropped in May 2014, ‘Hour’ now sits atop the chart after spending last week at #3, outperforming Taylor Swift‘s ‘1989’, Ed Sheeran‘s ‘X’ and Nicki Minaj‘s ‘The Pinkprint’ which continues to fare terribly in the market.

Amazing! Just saw him in Atlanta, sold out, so much better in person! With a voice & writing skills he possess, he will be around for a while. The crowd went crazy for him. Glad to be a little sailor, Sam!

2014 was such a bad year for music that people like him are the very few who deserve to top things right now. I hope he wins his grammys cause the alternatives are not good.

I don’t use this fagggott.. His voice is TERRIBLE. The only good thing about him is that he will snatch t*********’s weave at the grammys.
