Christina Aguilera has been hard at work crafting her comeback album since last year.
The superstar, who gave birth to daughter Summer Rain last August, had been recording in the run-up to the baby’s arrival and has continued after.
It appears an LP isn’t the only thing the multi-octave songbird has been piecing together.

In a new interview with Hits Daily Double, the diva’s powerhouse manager Irving Azoff revealed:
“We’re currently putting together a Gwen Stefani tour. Christina, depending on her commitments to The Voice, is getting ready.”
Though seemingly tentative, we’re gonna need Xtina to set plans in place pronto. The Voice, while lucrative has had its cons in that it really has seen her morph into more of a television personality rather than the dominant chart and stage force she is renown for being. It definitely didn’t help that the one album she released during her many years on the show, ‘Lotus’, was promoted horrendously.
Let’s hope her upcoming music and anticipating touring return right the wrongs of recent years.
But does anyone give a fvck? According to her current album sales they don’t.
When your fav can have a worldwide tour profit as much as b2b and sound half as good as Xtina on her prime, you can try to drag. Until then, sit.

Why do you kids think that $hit matters lol? She’s a musician. The only thing that matters are record sales, tour sales, and her music. None of which people are checking for these days.
I give a f***! She is still one talented artist. Her collaborations woth artists as of recently have shown she is still a star vocalist.
I have doubts about her touring just because she has two kids and she has very much said they come first. So we will see. I can only hope! <3

Honestly, Your Body could have been the hit that catapulted her back into relevancy, but she/her team f***** it up. I’m tired of rooting for this b**** because she seemingly doesn’t care about her own career. I’ll believe she gets up off her ass long enough to have a tour when I see it.
I don’t think it was even that, I honestly think that the whole “Bionic@ era took a tool on her. And I honestly feel like she wasn’t into “Lotus” which is why she didn’t really push it. Vocally on the album it shows when she is in into her music because she’s attacking her songs with attitude but with “Lotus” it felt half aśśed. “Your Body” was definitely radio friendly and when they stop playing it so quick I know lot of people were asking what happened…idk??? I just need her to get that sassy attitude back and slay like she did on the Jackson tribute she did on the Voice. Cause that right was the Xtina I knew.

I love Christina although I haven’t listened to her albums since “Stripped” but all I want for her is to put something that sounds like the first album. And not to be disrespectful but I hope she loses some weight and if she did already than thats cool. She needs to look like the old Christina I knew, the one who could actually do some decent dancing. She is one of the pop singers from the the early 2000’s that looks young.

I don’t think she’s that iconic. She’s always one step behind others which is why she hasn’t made much impact on pop culture. During her peak she had been imitating Britney, then Pink, then Gaga. The only time she’s done anything on her own merit was with Back to Basics and that sound could only work for 1 album. Her voice isn’t her merit too people already prize Mariah and/or Whitney on that.

Stripped was nothing like Pink. Stripped was more R&B-Pop, while Pink had Rock/Pop
The Gaga comparison is b*******, since Christina wanted to do that style before Gaga came across, and if you listen to Bionic you would hear, that it does not sound like anything Gaga did. Funny how Christina was one of the first to work with SIA, MIA and so on but flopped, guess she was ahead of her time
Lotus was s***, except Your Body and that song with Blake Sheldon.

So many young artists have tried to do her vocal runs and riffs.
Christina was always able to put sing Britney and honestly she NEVER was imitating Britney’s sound. Christina always worked with different producers while Britney and Pink worked with the “hit makers”.
She has never looked like the two. Any comparisons were made only because they are white females in the industry.
She is a legend with those Grammy performances alone. And her tours were some of the top grossing during its time. Her B2B tour was the highest grossing female tour of that year.
She was the catalyst who started working with Sia in 2009 because she was a fan of Zero 7.
She was the first pop collaboration for Nicki Minaj on Bionic.
The only thing working against her career at the moment is that she puts her kids first. Can you really get mad at someone for that?
if i’m remembering correctly, xtina won the grammy for best new artist over britney. however,the media has always favored britney more. for years they’ve said and done every negative thing possible to keep christina from shining and out of the limelight. to say she didn’t promote her albums just isn’t true. the media just basically ignores her. if the press hates a celeb, their careers barely stand a chance!
Christina has been an inspiration to me for so many years. Will continue to support her no matter what.

On the list she has duets with Rihanna, Pharrell, A Great Big World, Jacquie Lee (from the Voice) and most interestingly one with Iggy Azela. It was written and produce by her, Pharrell, Sia. Claude Kelly, DJ Premier and more. Not to mention a Latin Deluxe edition. So Fire and Fun it would seem that my girl ain’t playing this go round. Which I hope she is not! I need her to slay! Obviously you lack comprehension skills because the key words in my paragraph as stated above were “SUPPOSED, ALLEGED and SEEM” which imply that I am aware that it is indeed not 100% true….so I am not sure where you are getting at that I am naive, nor do I care frankly speaking.
All we know is there is a new album coming this year and she is working with Pharrell and DJ Premier and registered a song called ‘Waves’ the rest are rumours we all know deep down aren’t true. Before Lotus there was a supposed leaked track list and album title which clearly was fake when the album was named Lotus and none of the alleged tracks were on it. But good for you, I do like the Blonde name though 🙂

If I have offered thee it is my sincerest apologies and not my intention. It might sound like I’m an unapologetic bîtch but on this blog with so many trolls, you gotta call it like it really is. To in which that yes the only (more or less) confirmed information about her next project that we know is #FireandFun, her teaming with DJ Premier and Pharrell. Everything else is just a guess or a wish list rumor. And if the Lotus release is anything to go by via The Voice then we should get a single soon and an album release around the Live Shows.
She should’ve toured during her last two eras but she messed it all up. I remember the little amphitheater tour she was going to do for Bionic, what happened to that? don’t even know if she can sell out a larger-sized theatre at this point.
But Lana is performing her snooze fest in old folks homes so..
And not to mention if this “Broadway 4D” project still comes out this year we’ll get to see Christina play Evita and sing “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” so again this year indeed could be Fire and Fire and more importantly the return of the X!

Xtina gets a lot of flak but she is a modern Pop icon and this is coming from someone who only likes one album from her (Stripped) with the inclusion to a couple of singles here and there. Her not touring with her last two eras really hurt her brand commercially and the albums were duds in my opinion. What she needs to do is get back in shape vocally. All that improper technique wore away at her instrument at such a young age. However, I’ve been hearing great things about her voice these days so that’s good. Considering her material, I think she should steer clear of sounds that appear to be too pandering and just make music that comes from the heart. That’s all I’ve got. Good luck Christina!
