Due to dance into stores on January 15th, a new promo for the independent release was unleashed today and features the former Danity Kane diva sporting traditionally Muslim attire (a hijab and abaya).

We don’t expect Dawn to do huge numbers. C’mon, most artists with all their promotion and hits can’t even scan paper bag these days. If you’re not Adele, Rihanna, Taylor, Beyonce and Katy Perry the odds are not in your favor, however like Dawn you can carve out your own lane, live your dreams and make money. Danity Kane has been both a blessing and a curse for Dawn. Going back to Danity Kane was a bad decision and a step backwards for her. Bottomline is, I am just delighted to see Dawn still working after everything and pushing forward. As a fan I like her work ethic. This is not a game or a ploy to remain famous and visible, it’s the real deal. She moves me.
