I dunno how to feel. The 80s production is cute but Rita adds nothing to the song. Charli used to be so edgy what happened? And I know I heard that melody from the verses somewhere else… who they stealing?
Omg! I was thinking the same thing. Although, I’m sure you weren’t thinking the same song as me. In my opinion, there’s something very reminiscent of verse on Chairlift’s Amanaemonesia. But honestly, I listen to so much music, there’s bound to be some overlap.

Rihta just had to ruin the second best song on Sucker, didn’t she? The original was a pure pop masterpiece. She adds nothing and has none of the personality or spark of Charli.
I prefer the album version too. Its my #1 fave off SUCKER apart from Boom Clap but I guess their label decided to add Rita so that it sells in UK. Good to make it big in UK as back-up plan.

I wasn’t feeling it at first, but as I scrolled through the comments, I began to like the song more as it played. Cool track with an authentic 80s feel.
