In July 2012, Azealia Banks delivered the ‘Fantasea‘ mixtape, the Diplo backed mixtape responsible for the Pop fan favourite ‘Luxury.‘
Now, months after the surprise release of her debut album, Banks has revealed that it is to be followed by a double disk project that will serve as the second part to the aforementioned mixtape.Array
She revealed during a recent radio interview:
Fantasea 2 is coming, oooh, Fantasea 2. So this is what I wanna do with Fantasea 2. I wanna do like a double disk with Fantasea 1, re-record some of the songs and package it up and have a double disk with Fantasea 1 and Fantasea 2. It’s not gonna be deep, deep,deep, dark energy.
The original ‘Fantasea’ boasts 19 cuts on its track list and was released independently, dropping after the unveiling of her ‘1991’ EP which houses the jams ‘212’, ‘Liquorice’ and ‘Van Vogue.’
